Too shallow for me

A great overview to React and useful intro to modern JS. This course gives you just enough information without overloading you. I enjoyed the practical examples too.
Melvin Samuel –
I learned so much from this. Well done course.
Rohit Arondekar –
I liked the survey nature of the course i.e the course gave a quick rundown of important topics in front end development and enough resources to dig deeper. The projects were also fun.

It was a very good match. I have 20 years of experience in web development but I like to take refresher courses yearly. This lets me know the new features of the tools that I am using and lets me remember some older tools that I have not used in the past.

An amazing course! The teacher demonstrates mastery of both didactics and subject. I totally recommend it to anyone that wants to improve your web development skills.

The course is pitched at exactly the level stated, so it is going to be the most relevant for those with previous dev experience, looking to transition/upskill to using React. I personally found it consolidated a lot of JS and React concepts that I’d read about in the past, by providing useful examples and concise explanations. I would definitely recommend the course.

Cassidy Williams is a great presenter and overall a wonderful teacher. The concepts here are in quick short videos which for learning is the best route to go personally.

This was a great course, I am all about a clear speech. Found the author a little bit fast in terms of speech but it was clear enough when reduced the speed from 1x to .75x, the course had great projects, included good concepts to learn where in other courses it was difficult for me to completely grasp. I have experienced previous video of the author in another online library and liked the idea of taking this course on this new technology. The quizzes are great the projects are also interesting and challenging. great project overall

Yes, Cassidy warned that this is for advanced Javascript users. However, in this 3 hours course Cassidy spends time explaining the basic and completely glossed over the complex part of React. Videos are dedicated to explaining those basic and you’re left to your own device to figure out the more complex part of React. Not only that, being that it’s a 3 years old lesson, there is one critical solution missing and the simplemde editor had since made further changes to their project meaning their process for setting up the editor is now different. This also means users now have another thing to figure out on their own thus defeating the purpose of using this course to learn something that users may as well learn on their own. I guess that’s why this course is now free..

good so far, the pace seems just right
