Learn Silicon Valley’s hottest programming language in a visual and colorful way.
The goal of this course is to teach you the basics of JavaScript programming. The focus of the course is mainly on HTML5 game development, but all the concepts we cover are also used in web, mobile app and server–side development.
JavaScript is eating the world. Starting as a web scripting language, JavaScript is now used not just for web development, but also game, mobile app, server and database development.
This course will teach you how to code in JavaScript from scratch in a visual and colorful way. You will learn to code by making a mobile game. That’s right! you read well. By making your first mobile game you will be learning JavaScript’s core concepts (which also apply to other programming languages!), as opposed to the usual dull style found in all other JavaScript courses.
This approach to teaching JavaScript has never been tried before and that’s why 578 people funded it’s creation via Kickstarter.

Yes, I have not taken any js course so it is great to start from the basics. The instructor does a great job of using simple terms.

This course was a perfect quick look into JavaScript gaming. I have taken a few other in depth JavaScript courses, but what I liked about this one is that it covered almost the same content in a quick and efficient way. This course was very easy to follow and I feel anyone would be able to keep up and learn quickly. I do have some prior JavaScript experience so it was easy for me to understand the content but I feel someone without coding experience would have an easy time as well as he explains things in a way that makes sense. I think my favorite thing about this course is the length of it. There is so much content in less than 4 hours. This course is perfect for beginners or as a refresher course if you are already knowledgeable on the subject.

Course seemed ok until I tried the first challenge and download the source code. Well, I was redirected to another of Zenvas sites and was forced to give them my e mail adrress, agree to their privacy policy and then get sent a link via e mail to where I can download the source code files. However, before I pressed the button to submit my e mail another popup came up to enter again, I did so and have been sent spam since…but no link for the source code .
