I took this course to understand jquery in depth, but this course is having minimal information on jquery features which is helpful only for the beginners. If you want to learn jquery in depth then this is not the right course. The author explains the content in slow fashion, which will be bored at certain point of time.

A lot of information is provided to the student. However, I don’t think course is geared towards teaching a student how to do JQuery. There are no breaks or pauses in place for a student to really do any coding or to follow along. This is more of a watch along as the instructor codes / presents code.

This course is a decent wide scoped surface scratching introduction to jQuery and jQuery UI for anyone who has never used it or hasn’t used it in a few years. It does not cover the full breadth of either one but quickly exposes the user to the websites where more information can be acquired while providing the student with a jump start instroduction of why and how to use jQuery in order to quickly develop the core layout and behavior of web pages instead of spending time developing code to perform all those behaviors. The jQuery language and its many add ins provide a ton of code reuse capability to get your web pages designed and running quickly.
