In this course you will learn how to apply your front–end web development skills to create a project that dynamically generates complex css styles such as text–shadows and box–shadows. In the first two lessons, You will learn how to use a JavaScript forloop, modular division and conditional logic to create a colorpicker. In the next several lessons, you will learn how to use conditional logic and string–to–variable concatenation to determine the functionality of the colorpicker you will create.
You will then write a custom function that will dynamically style html elements on the page and also generate a css code block in the html that can be copied and pasted in other applications.
You will learn how to apply the JQuery .val(), .css(), .siblings() and many more of the skills you learned in your basic courses. You will learn how to mark up your html in a manner that will greatly simplify your JavaScript.
This course is for anyone who has a basic knowledge of html, css and JQuery, and is now ready to learn how to apply those skills in a real world project. The skills you will gain from this course can be applied to the client side technology of a revolution in web development. And you will have a lot of fun doing it. I guarantee it!

I really love how we create the color picker. Can I use this on my own website when I get it build? I finally finished the course. I’ve never seen anything like this anywhere on Udemy or anywhere else. It is definitely a unique concept. In the last video, you seemed to create an overlay over an image, but you said you used PHP. I am looking forward to learning PHP also. Sure do hope you create the PHP course soon. Thanks for this great course.

This is really helpful. Especially creating the colorpicker. It is true that IF is a big word. We can do so much if we learn how to use conditional thinking, and that is what I am getting the most out of this course. I look forward to finishing it.

I have learned a lot from this course. It is amazing how much we can do with the if then statements. Conditional statements are the key to being able to solve so many problems. I would like to see more courses like this. Your presentation is very clear. You explain everything in a way that I can understand. I highly recommend this course!

I am just getting started but I can tell right now that I will learn a lot from this course. In the second video, the instructor does some coding experimentd using modular division. I have heard of modular division, but I never found a use for it. The instructor says we will use this concept to create the color picker. I am excited to see how.

This course taught me so much about how to use the if statements to solve problems. I believe I am ready for anything. I really look forward to more courses like this one.

The instructor clearly explains why we are writing the code instead of just writing it. This is what I need to learn. Also, I understand the power of the conditional statements. I would recommend this course to anyone who really wants to learn how to create projects.

This course is definitely a good practice exercise in critical thinking and conditional logic. It is not easy but I am learning a lot.

Schade, dass kein Code zur Verf gung steht.
Tedjohnson –
The instructor explains why he is writing the code. This makes it a lot easier to learn how to create my own projects with the knowledge I am leaning.
