nice for a free course, although I got a bit lost on the lecture when he started to write the makeGameBoard function, maybe its just me because I am still a beginner in JQuery although a more detailed explaination would have been much better.

Assuming you have some prior knowledge of javaScript and CSS then this course is golden as it will put a lot of perspective / context of what you know into some applied examples as the game builds up. WARNING If you are a total beginner with javaScript (mostly) and to some extend with HTML / CSS you will have some hard time following along with this course. Otherwise this course is definitely a fun way to engage and apply your theoretical knowledge of javaScript / HTML / CSS into a fun game. Thumbs up for the author’s presentation style, voice clarity and short modules for each component of the game as it builds up from scratch. Now you can let your imagination run wild as to what you can place instead of a Mole …

0% filler. It is exactly as advertised: within the specified time you’ll have everything it claims. Everything is focused, at a natural pace, at getting your jQuery site up and running, with no extraneous content. The instructor makes the code (that he is adding/changing) legible so you can see exactly where you should be, and includes the correct code at the end of each lesson. Each lesson is a manageable 4 9 minutes, and not overwhelming.

I would have enjoyed more explanation of the source code during the individual lectures where we were writing it, instead of having it all at the end. But overall, it was a good course. I was able to customize the game and have fun with it.
