I am a beta tester for this course, and Alex gave it to me to see if a person who hasn’t programmed before can get through the course, and I have to say that the technical lectures by Val are very easy to follow and easy to understand. Thank you Alex and Val for your hard work.

I have made few attempts to learn Android on my own so I am not a complete beginner with Android, however this is the first course that makes it click for me. The section on course planning gave me new insights on how to plan out Android project. I am more than half through the course and I am almost ready to publish my first Android app.

All in one course, I really liked that this course is not only about development, but also marketing and monetization. I recommend it for your first course if you want to get to know the Android world. Easy to follow steps, definetly worth it!
Steven Jones –
I thought I wouldn’t understand this, and that it would be too technical, but Val explains the technical things in a very measured and patient way which makes the material easier to understand

I am really getting a lot out of this class, it has many practical and hands on lectures. The two instructors Alex and Val are speaking from experience and sharing nuggets of information that will be very beneficial to beginner and established Android developers

For a beginner like me who is trying to break into the app development club, this course completely met and exceeded my expectations. I was very impressed with the painstaking way the instructor employed in explaining the contents and methodology of the course in great detail. The beauty of the course is that not only are you presented with the contents on how to develop an Android app, you are also shown how to promote and market it. That’s the icing on the already beautiful cake. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who is keenly interested in learning how to develop and promote Android app.

A Source Code, this is the first course I have taken in Udemy where the source code is provided. Given that I have only taken a few courses. This course strikes the right balance between providing hands on practical information and sparing the student with too much background info. Also the course strikes a right balance between beginner and advanced development and marketing concepts. Well done Val and Alex

Learning to program apps is not easy, but the course makes the pain much less. I tried to learn on my own before, and it was much harder. With this course it is so much simpler. Plus Val is very helpful if I ever need help or have questions.
Marc Yves St–Victor –
Content is comprehensive and informative. Preferred to have less and copy and paste sometimes in order to favorite a better following and understanding of some concepts. Good job !
Samir Samir El Bouhi –

It is ok for Beginners.

I believe this is the best android tutorial yet. Everybody says we program in marshmallow. That is great and all but Val uses Material Design. I have a background in programming and never leave a review. But I have to say this guy really does do a good job. How many courses out there are programming in Marshmallow with a Holo library for the UI? You get your moneys worth on this course. I hope he does one with restful api.
