In this course you will be building your very own blockchain and decentralized blockchain network by using the JavaScript programming language. By building your own blockchain, you will learn how blockchain technology works under–the–hood, how decentralized blockchain networks function, how the code behind these technologies work, and why blockchain is such a secure and valuable technology.
The blockchain that you build in this course will have all of the following features:
When you have completed this course you will have built out your own blockchain prototype in code. You will have a thorough understanding of how blockchain technology actually works and why this technology is so secure and valuable. You will also have a deep understanding of how decentralized blockchain networks function and why decentralization is such an important feature for securing the blockchain. The whole process of storing, securing, and validating data/transactions on the blockchain will become very clear.

Up to now, am more than amazed by all new things I have learned, not only about blockchain, but about node.js. Thank you for this course 😀
Guilherme Camacho –
this lecture is amazing, very easy to understanding .

It gives what it says. No more. It’s a bit basic and doesn’t give an answer to lot of questions. Why mine blocks? When? Why use blockchain for cryptovalues? Also, i felt REALLY frustrated about the author saying every 5 minutes (maybe less) cool. Really, i don’t need at all your false enthusiasm. Apart from these criticisms, it does a very good job: EXCELLENT pronunciation and EXCELLENT explanations.

The instructor talks slowly and demonstrates the course’s content very clearly. I advise it for everyone that intends to understand how the Blockchain works. I enjoyed it.
Nikolay Nogin –
Amazing course! All code looks clear and pretty understandable. I thought that blockchain is that my brain can not understand, but thanks I know JavaScript and to this course, now I know all basics of this beautiful technology.
Nguyen Le An Phuong –
Amazing, above expectations!
Brijesh kumar Mamgain –
good
Luca Pau –
This course is outdated, lack in all the information to understand a blockchain and the code is very awful. Honestly, I’ll never recommend a course like that. Such a waste of money
STEVANUS SURJADI –
easy to follow, but first you must have javascript knowledge in order to follow the lessons. I stopped at some states and take Jscript course in order to learn some JS command used in this lesson.
Thomas Schwarz –
Workspace setup portion is lacking discussion about how to install Node.js and npm and which versions should be used.
Sivaram Ramasubramanian –
Very good! Crisp and clear.
Miti Bumnanpol –
Eric shows step by step creating blockchain environment with slow pace of speaking, so I can catch him. console.log Great job Eric!!!;
Sachin Mohorikar –
where to get the npm and what setup is required on Windows machine?
Tibor Kircsi –
It was too slow for me. I think, if someone is learning blockchain in javascript it is not necessary to explain what is variable assignment. There is a couple of things can be improved in code like exiting from a loop when the result is found. The blockchain and network part of this course is okay.
Thomas Dekeyser –
The blockchain content of the course seems pretty good, but overall it feels outdated. I took this course to learn more about JS while also creating a blockchain, but had to stop because the JS used did not feel modern… An update for this course is welcome
Roman Raslin –
Explanation of blockchain and its parts are good
Tamilselvan Thiagarajan –
Good
Ahmed Elmasri –
It is a great course with great instructor!
Harish Varandani –
The explanations are simple and effective
Rob W –
Fantastic course for learning how to build a blockchain in Javascript. This course was simple to understand, well presented and was went into depth on the topic. I enjoyed the course and learned a lot.
Massimiliano Cavinato –
The course is good for whoever wants to approach blockchain programming in Javascript and wants cover basic concepts, more resources will be required if you really want to get deeper understanding of other consensus algorithms rather than just proof of work . ( I would have loved that ) Overall good!
Mithun Nair –
Great course. For someone interested in understanding the nitty gritties of Block Chain, nothing is more beneficial than building one. We find truckloads of theory related to Blockchain, but until we get into the water, we cant learn how to swim! Simple example, clear videos and audio, just the relevant information. Great course. Go for it. Thanks Eric
Dennis Zollmann –
very slow paced
Yannick Zagabe –
Yes, concepts are explained very well. Easy to understand.
J Bouche –
Great for an intro breakdown to blockchain would like extra time on front end stuff but this was more about fundamentals so I understand. Thanks!
Sergio Ruggero Nardi –
Un buen curso para entender las bases de la tecnolog a de blockchain
Marc Gibba –
Has been easy to follow and the tutor is clear in his instructions
Seweryn Severinu –
cool guy, easy explained
