This class is an introduction to the C++ programming language for those who are already familiar with C syntax and some basic principles of object oriented programming. C++ is based on C, but extends the language with characteristics like function templates, namespaces, and (of course) categories.
Here’s a list of what you’ll learn:
– Primitive data types and variables
– How to create and use namespaces
– Basic I/O in C++ using streams
– Using stringstreams: input and output directly from strings
This is the lite version of our main course Learn C++ in Less than 4 Hours – for Beginners
If you’ve been thinking to start with learning C++, then this course is a good first step.

I need to brush up on my C that I haven’t used in a while. As well as learn the vocabulary of C++. This little course fits me quite well.

The videos are well structured and it is good to see example code for every aspect being discussed. The only let down is how short it is and certain beginner content like functions and classes being omitted.

Up to this point it is the best explained course I have seen.
