Christian Jespersen –
I went from knowing only how to spell html, to actually understand and being able at a spreadsheed html code, and understand. I followed along the exercises for the 1/3 of the course, and managed to do everything the instructor said. But realizing that I am not watching this course to learn how to code, but only to understand it, there by the people who do the work (which I admire to a much higher degree now), I stopped doing the exercises, and doubled the speed. The instructors tone and guiding is a class a example of show and tell instructions should be done. I learned a lot, because it was so very well structured. If you need to go from knowing nothing about html, to have a solid understanding of with, but don’t expect to build big websites right after, this is the course for you. And the review value is high, because it is so easy to find an explanation of what exactly you need to learn or refresh in your memory. This is the longest review I have ever written. Considering how boring I found coding before taking this course, you opened my eyes for it means to be an html coder. Good job, sir.

Very good information. It does not assume a lot of prior knowledge nor does it treat you like an idiot. It is indeed right in the sweet spot for people who know some html and would like to add the HTML5 enhancements to their toolbox.

This is a great course and the teacher takes learners through the learning process in a systematic way.

Because you can’t download the working files, the volume on the page is difficult to control, I don’t like the guy’s voice, full of arrogance with no intellect behind it, and I don’t like apple. Why don’t you say you’re going to use an apple browser before people sign up? Once I learn this, I can teach circles around this guy.
Steven Miller –
Well put together gave the examples upfront so you went into lessons ready. Also using the most basic apps to teach stuff everyone already has. Well done!!!

It is very explanatory.

Instructor is both a good teacher and a good developer, but clearly the guy is a teacher by profession because the pacing/tone/structure all made a lot of sense and was easy to follow. You won’t learn everything you need to know to be an ace developer here, but it’s definitely a must have leg of your journey.
