Good Match

Excellent beginner course for learning how to start creating expert advisors. The instructor presents the material very well.

A very good start the right pace. The description of how to construct the indicator is the best example of how to teach this language that I have seen out of 5 online courses and 3 books. I really enjoyed completing this course. Had a few issues with the compilation of my code but eventually sorted them (mostly typos). The final section on reverse tradding and spread testing was very inspiring. The hedging session I did not follow so will have to study that topic more in the future. When and where is the next course?

The lessons were well planned. The instructor managed to cover a lot of material in a short time while explaining how the little things he covered fit into the big picture.

Pretty good teacher. Felt like the course is a bit short but it’s definitely a good course. Code print offs would certainly be a plus, as students would be able to follow along with code more easily with a physical copy. Thank you for a great course and your hard work 🙂

It’s a good course for people with some experience in programming but for the absolute beginners, at the end of the course they will still be scratching their head for understanding. I have this experience and I’ve to look for other tutorials ( free ) in youtube and other sources just to have some deeper understanding about programming mql4.

Advantages: good value for money. Disadvantages: for me, (familiar with the MQL language and how indicators and expert advisors work) it is rather unclear if the course is more suitable for beginners or advanced students. Probably it is because the course is too short and Charlie is trying to cover a huge amount of information in two hours. In my opinion, there are two options: a) Course for beginners focus on the syntax of the language itself, declarations and variables. b) Course for advanced users focus on the functions and the main body, and provide more examples of indicators and expert advisors.

It’s a good match… I mostly know this so far, but good to be reminded, and I like the clear, logical structure and presentation!

Very thorough. One of the few that actually goes through indicator programming. A great refresher for us going from traditional coding to MQL4 coding…
