Really great primer on OAuth 2.0
Benji Forgues –
This seems basic, and I want to take a course about implementing oauth into our current system. NOT how to hook into public api’s.
Levan Gagnidze –
Very clear and useful information.
Gustavo Torregrosa Costa –
Great teacher! His slow and paced voice made very simple such complex stuff
Anjana Sarkar –

Really amazing part is the speaker explained the concept and in depth domain knowledge in plain business English. As a security architect, I will use this course as a model class to improve my technology and business presentation skill.

Buen curso para tener una idea del funcionamiento de Oauth. Demasiado contenido usado en explicar el mismo funcionamiento en distintas plataformas como Gmail, Paypal…etc
Ronny Moura –
Very well explained
Brandon Avant –
Excellent course! Matthias does a great job breaking down the individual components of OAuth 2.0 in a compelling and meaningful way.
Mihail Krastev –
Clear explanation of concepts and easy to understand diagrams. Gentle introduction that does not expect existing knowledge.
Zachary Moorman –
I highly recommend this course. The production value isn’t the best, but the content is top notch. Thanks, Matthias!

The guy with the power point slides is not bad. I live visual explanations. But those two guys talks overlap a lot, there is so much redundancy in this course, which makes it kind of boring. What I really hate is the guy sitting before his silly bookshelf with books he probably never read (like a lot of professionals nowadays think, that this is what they should do). Rather than a fullscreen cam to his face, I like visual explanations and not just some guy talking. These are learning videos and not some podcasts where you could also just put up a blank screen. It makes the viewer paying attention to all the details instead of focusing on the content. In my opinion, 80% of the videos here could be removed and you would not miss a single thing. It starts getting interesting from Section 5. The rest is very redundant and mostly very boring. I still give 3 Stars because there is good knowledge in here, but my tip for you guys would be to step up your explanation and visualisation game. The powerpoint guy is good and the ideas are nicely presented. Basic, but it works. The other guy has like a ton of cuts in his videos (very annoying) and I don’t really see a main storyline he tries to follow, just sometimes random examples that somehow make sense but seem misplaced.

worst experience ever on udemy,if you are familiar with OAuth 2.0 then never take this course.I wanna ask to the instructor why the course title is get started as an API security expert.I already knew what is Oauth and how to use it for social logins. My question is I have an API and several clients(mobile) are using it,now how to secure it with OAuth?why the hell i ask my client to login to google first and then access my services, if there is no need of third party login provider ,then is there no use of OAuth??? worst experience ever.

Muy buena elecci n: explica considerablemente bien detallado los conceptos que muchas veces uno cree tener claros. Los ejemplos y los cuestionamientos que plantea son muy certeros.

Ok, Here is my feedback, I recommend everyone who are interesting to learn almost everything about the OAuth Framework. Lectures are playing very slow, But It is really helpful for the non native English speakers like me, If you feel like bored please increase the play speed. u2028If you noticed that same theory is mentioned in several time, I guess it is expectable when we are learning a bit complex protocol or a framework like this. u2028I recommend this course for everyone. Thanks again!

Straight to the point. Clear and simple information for beginner. Highly recommended. If you are looking for a tutorial on how to setup a login using OAuth this ain’t be that tutorial this is the overall structure and must know before you deed dive into such activity.
