I will be going to add more projects on regular basis until it contains enough projects to understand almost every aspects of Scrapy and other supporting libraries.It contains not only Scrapy but also many other supporting libraries like selenium, splash, scrapyjs for scraping data from javascript heavy sites.

If you need an intro to Scrapy framework, this course is for you. It went through couple examples to demonstrate how to use Scrapy framework to extract information from the web. Overall, it is an very informative course!

I signed up for this course because I wanted to be able to fire up my terminal and get to work scraping. The course delivers in this regard after a short intro we’re off and running scraping IMDB. I’m so happy I’m confident using scrapy with some simple xpath directives to scrape sites. My only criticism is that it’s a follow me as I mumble about what I’m doing course. Maybe the instructor will take more time to clearly enunciate his strategy for scraping Instagram when he adds that section to the course.
