What is this course about? This course is a primer for using Stripe with PHP. It creates examples of using the Stripe provided Javascript based checkout forms for accepting bank cards. Then it covers the PHP processing of the charge of those cards. You use the Stripe dashboard to follow the charges to a payment to your account.
Visual Step by Step eBooks Included! Often following along by video is not convenient. So every video in this course includes a page by a PDF eBook you can also use. The eBooks are full sized visuals you see in the videos.
Who might find this course useful? This course is for those who are new to Stripe and prefer not to use documentation to learn. Keep in mind that Stripe provides many examples and documentation a competent PHP programmer could follow. So if you are that type of person, consider looking at that option before enrolling in this course. However if you want a laid back deep dive into the basics, this could be helpful to intermediate and higher level skilled developers.
Are you ready to take this course? Students for this course are new to intermediate in their PHP, Javascript, JQuery, CSS and HTML skills. You are familiar with these technologies and have had some experience. This course will stay on the light side of their use but at the same time provide production quality solutions you can use in simple applications.

What can I say… I’m not a programmer, far from it. Lon shows you in very easy steps to follow with snippets to add to your coding; by the time you’ve done all that, you got a working script to accept payments that you can use as a template for other uses.. His support is very fast, so I highly recommend checking him out if you’re like me, you’d be glad you did. I saved hours and hours just to get the first part of accepting payments up and running. I had mine running in about 6 hours (in between stops and pauses to add the code that Lon provides)… So its a no brainer… jump in… water is warm here! 🙂 Cheers Lon Loz

Explains step by step; at times the course speed is fast, but given the included practice files and the pause button, even the first time programmers can pick up the content fairly easily. The instructor speaks well (demonstrates good preparation).

Great examples and teaching. I have already learned enough to pay for the course.

I am very glad with this course. Explanations are clear and the course is informative and easy to follow. I personally don’t like the ype along approach and prefer using code snippets, just like this instructor does.
Patrick Tsai –
This course simplifies an otherwise intimidating task of setting up Stripe and creating a functional payment form. Also, the presenter’s calm voice makes it easy to follow step by step.

Excelletn cours and very good introduction to stripe and how the php library works. I was able to integrate all what I learned in my own php code. Many thanks!

The instructor seems both extremely knowledgeable and competent at teaching what we knows. The material is challenging enough to be worthwhile, but not overwhelming. Pacing seems ideal for me (amateur developer). Questions and concerns anticipated and well handled. So far each section has either answered what I wanted to know, or has reassured me that it s coming soon.

So far just still images with audio instructions, would be much more helpful if he recorded videos of setting up stripe and talked us through what he was doing
