Coding for browsers becomes a whole lot easier with latest version of the ECMAScript programming language. The most popular programming language gets a new version!
ECMA International finally introduced the latest version of JavaScript, dubbed the ES2015. ES2015 is the sixth edition of the language offering fancy new features over the preceding versions.
The latest versions brings with it much awaited changes such as new syntax for writing more complex applications, new modules, classes, iterators, loops, expressions, arrow functions, etc. It even includes new python–styled generators and generator expressions.
The idea behind the release of the new version is to simplify the process of creating more complex applications and websites, allowing for more futuristic technologies to take place now.
Itching to try out the latest version of JavaScript? Here s what you need this course!

Really good explanation… easy so far
Marlene Lawal –
Very clear code explanation.

I like the instructor’s teaching style. So far I feel like I am learning what I wanted to learn.
Jan Stancek –
I really enjoy the way of Brad’s explanation. However, paying attention to details seems to be not Brad’s strength. E.g. 3 x undefined instead of street, city, zipcode info.

Much of the course so far has felt like the instructor is reading off the docs. I’m hoping that he’ll actually put the knowledge to work by the end of the course!

Still fairly early in the course, but this is exactly what I was looking for to get up to speed with ECMAScript 6. I didn’t give it the 5 stars because I’m still unsure of how I would use this in my apps/sites.

Great! Explains everything clearly

While the sections providing an overview of some of the important, new features of es2015 are reasonably clear and well explained, they were, to my liking, a bit too brief. The last section of the course attempts to tie everything together by building an address book application. However, while the application is shown to work on screen, the actual files provided with the course present an app that does not work as expected due to a number of errors/oversights on the part of the course’s creators. Further, the app will not work for anyone following the literal instructions given in the video. The errors are not difficult to resolve but may be troublesome and time consuming if not already familiar with some of the course materials. It would be an easy matter for Eduonix to drop a few explanatory notes in the lecture sequence to let customers know what to expect and how to proceed. Eduonx’s lack of concern and respect for its customers earns it a two star review for this course.

When I purchased this program, it appears to be an entry level course to teach you about building apps with ES6. But what it doesn’t tell you is that you need a thorough understanding of JavaScript before you take the course as this focuses on things that are new in ES6. So i was unable to get much out of the course.

This course discussed the historical background of JavaScript.
