This course is little more than watching somebody go through the steps. There needs to be a lot more in the way of consolidation opportunities. The delivery is dry and sounds unenthusiastic so much so it’s a real struggle to actually stick with the course and complete it. There are also examples of code that go against the Worpdess codex and conventions that have been in place for quite a few years, but which have not been fixed since this course was released. Content wise this course is thoruugh in what it covers, but the lack of consolidaton, the dry delivery and the breaches of WordPress Conventions mean this course does not do a great job of imparting correct and useful knowledge.

Instructor has good knowledge of subject, but sometimes moves too fast, completing sections of code and overlaying with browser window before you get a chance to see. Means pausing and rewinding video every couple of minutes to see completed code.

This course is very helpful but I’ve noticed that is kind of missing one of the theme. Dynamo Theme. Even in the last lecture there was kind of overview of the build themes and it’s mentioned also this Dynamo theme but I cannot see it in the course itself?

Very disappointed in Section 6. The instructor was pasting tones of code for class.showcase widget. it would have been nice if he provided code in resources like other files, regarding the fact that the code he was copying from codex.wordpress.org was outdated. Finally I skipped Section 6
