Jose Marcial Portilla has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University and years of experience as a professional instructor and trainer for Data Science and programming. He has publications and patents in various fields such as microfluidics, materials science, and data science technologies. Over the course of his career he has developed a skill set in analyzing data and he hopes to use his experience in teaching and data science to help other people learn the power of programming the ability to analyze data, as well as present the data in clear and beautiful visualizations. Currently he works as the Head of Data Science for Pierian Data Inc. and provides in-person data science and python programming training courses to employees working at top companies, including General Electric, Cigna, The New York Times, Credit Suisse, and many more.     Should have discussed NumPy operations in more detail. It’s just that he has not done any hard work to combine all the materials at one place which I think is his work to be done while giving a video lecture. He has referred the link to study other operations I mean come’on man if I can read that from there too why will I invest in your course

    I’m a professional looking to learn about Python Data Analysis. I use Pycharm on a daily basis. I was sorry to see the selection of Jupyter as the ide of choice as it creates an unnecessary boundary for using what’s learned here productively elsewhere.

    Achei ruim as aulas em que o professor simplesmente direcionava para links externos ou apenas percorreu muito superficialmente os conceitos. A exemplo: nas aulas sobre machine learning o professor diversas vezes apenas orienta se quiser saber mais consulte a wikipedia ou a documenta o da biblioteca X do Python. Isso revoltante pois o b sico que qualquer pessoa faria. Os exemplos e projetos foram interessantes e mostraram boas formas de uso. O conjunto geral me pareceu bom e aprendi algumas t cnicas bem teis. A parte do Pandas e Seaborn foi boa. A parte do Numpy, Machine Learning e SQL ficaram rasas mas ainda servem como uma breve introdu o. A parte de NLP e web scraping foi precariamente abordada (superficial demais). No geral eu gostei do curso, mas esperava que o conte do fosse melhor abordado em parte (significativa) dos t picos.
