I was not able to execute the HELLO WORLD program. I’ve done several new languages and I’ve always been able to follow along with the HELLO WORLD program. There were many terms used that were not defined early on PDS, JCL, SPOOL, etc. In addition, the ISPF Menu was used, but we were only showed how to get to the TSO menu. I was not able to follow along in the videos and could not continue after 15% of the way through the course.

Very informative and a good refresher.

I found the sound to fail often so I turned on the closed caption. Unfortunately it could not understand much of what was being said. Also many times the video was out of focus. I was using this course to refresh my COBOL vocabulary and usage. I have been retired for five years. I was able to understand the concepts put forth but I feel a person new to COBOL might have trouble.
Harish Babby –
it is good and need more programming classes then it will help us a lot
Akash Malviya –
There are missing details in concepts , the tutor is just reading the PPT and not helping with the concept.
Daniel Smith –
I kinda wish the captioning was better
L gia Rodrigues –
Simple, the sound is not bad but the sub titles are terrible. Completely off! If I didn’t already know Cobol I would be terribly confused at this point. Let’s hope it gets better from now on.

Great examples. Well thought out explanations, real coding examples. Would recommend this course.
Ran ferdinaro –
worst course I took. it’s very hard to understand the teacher (also, there are no useable subtitles). the teacher also doesn’t explain most of the things that should be explained.
Edward Damiata –
Very informative with excellent detail.
Bougrini anass –
