Sadly this is a tutorial with a lot of potential but it’s poorly produced. It’s not hard to follow along, but it seems the instructor is not really confident with his knowledge. I would never recommend this tutorial as a first approach to Unreal Engine, the Unreal Engine technology is exciting and ground breaking in many ways but this tutorial makes it seem dull and insipid. For someone who has been a game developer for 10 years the instructor should be more confident with what he’s doing. If you’re starting out in Unreal Engine I would 10x recommend the Unreal Engine Blueprint Game Developer course here on Udemy.

Very good introduction to a beginner.
