Apache Airflow is an open–source platform to programmatically author, schedule and monitor workflows. In this course we are going to start with covering some basic concepts related to Apache Airflow – from the main components – web server and scheduler, to the internal components like DAG, Plugin, Operator, Sensor, Hook, Xcom, Variable and Connection.
Later in the course I will teach you some more advanced topics like branching, metrics, performance and log monitoring, and Airflow’s REST API. Additionally I will help you to build your development environment with just one click using Docker and Docker Compose.
Why stop here? After all this, we will create a Kubernetes cluster in Amazon and we will deploy our application there!
Finally, I will share with you some useful advanced tips which will be helpful to enhance your simple Airflow project to a production ready system.

Ivaylo Marinovski –
Very good course, totally worth the time. The lecturer explains very thoroughly a complex topic with quite a lot of examples. Would love to see more from this lecturer.
Krasimir Kirilov –
Very useful for DevOps or Software engineers.

The course is well structured and it explained the core benefits and steps for using Airflow. I will strongly recommend this course to everyone who is interested in the Data field. Even if you are not using Airflow, the course will be very useful just to see and overthink the benefits of using it. The lector had explained everything in very good way and he had shared very interesting thoughts. Great job and thank you for the course, Mihail!

Course looks good so far but the audio is not great. You either need CC description with audio to understand what the tutor is saying.

I will give the instructor extra points for creating a course on a subject that is in demand and lacks other learning resources. However, the quality of this course is far below some of the top notch courses on Udemy. First, some of the sections almost put me to sleep. It’s not that the material itself is boring or not useful, but the way it is presented is not very engaging. The instructor is not high energy and when you combine that with the fact that he is not easy to understand, you end up using a significant amount of brain power to keep following along. Second, I would consider the material an overview and not a path to mastery. Most of the sections are the instructor showing and explaining already written code vs doing code alongs. The instructor states several times that he will expect you to have prior knowledge of certain concepts like k8s and helm which to me felt like an excuse to not dive deep into the subjects. Despite my criticism, this course was still useful and i consider it a viable option to increasing your knowledge of airflow and kubernetes deployment, given the lack of other quality resources available. That is as long as you are already familiar with both. I do hope the instructor continues working on the course and improving the material. I hope my criticism is taken as constructive.

The course offers excellent knowledge steps for learning Apache Airflow. I think the practical side of the course and the use cases are extremely useful for the real business. I started watching the course with very limited knowledge and now I feel comfortable in using the tool. Great job!
Yordan Vasilev –
Very thorough. Starts from the basics and by the end you know how to use it in a real–life working environment.
