It was right to the point, the basics. Good for starters. Sometimes the sound scrambles, but it is a good course. It could, however, have been a bit longer, like an hour longer.

This is undoubtedly one of the best courses I have done. The teacher is able to clearly and focusedly go through all the necessary points to demonstrate best practices and recursions, if you are going to really learn to use the right resources of amazon consorted with Jenkins to orchestrate everything and promote real IC and DC, this is the course. Congratulations on the work and thank you very much Professor Syed Razan.

Very good. If you’re a beginner to DevOps, and you write code, you should take this course. It’s really helpful. It gives you a broad range and a better perspective of software development. What you learn here is what you’ll use in the real world, when working a job, and also for working on large projects with developers involved. Highly recommend.

The course is exactly what I have expected beginner overview of the abilities and features AWS tools and Jenkins CI provide. Syed provides some valuable insights on the purpose of DevOps engineers and why the role is meaningful not only in terms of structuring the processes for developing and maintaining a product, but increasing performance and shortening delivery times as well. Important note the documentation shown during the course is available within the Resources chapter at the end of the course! Thank you

Sound quality is terrible.

The primary instructor wanders in his discussion. Repeating the same point too much. Makes numerous mistakes. They all refer to script that isn’t included in the course and you have to try to type it watching what’s on the screen. I leaned a fair bit, but mostly from doing lookups outside the course.

overly simple, barely any hands on with jenkins. can’t find the files we are using inside, and the audio cuts in and out, very stale and boring

Example were incomplete and full of errors. He did not provide any useful resources. I couldn’t get his jenkins build server to install the aws eb tools successfully.

Until now, the level is quite low (AWS beginers)

In general, this course is to people who are starting in DevOPs. The level is quite low. The most interesting part is the Beanstalk part. This course is not up to date and sometimes you are lost and to make things worse the teacher last to much time to answer your doubts. Even answer things that do not have anything to do with your problem.

Was great to get up to speed on how to build a pipeline with Jenkins. I’ve used it for my own personal project now I plan on linking it to my works Azure DevOps Repo and start creating some pipelines with the knowledge
Matthew Dinatale –
This was all lecture and aws not mastering jenkins. There was maybe 10 min total of Jenkins examples throughout the whole course very disappointing.
