What students are saying about this course?
5–Stars: By far one of the most concise explanations of microservices that I’ve heard so far. This was a great introduction and the sections helped to fill in some knowledge gaps about the tools that I’ve been using. A great breakdown of the what and why of microservices – Miguel Malcolm
5–Stars: Simple and easy to understand introduction but high level approach to microservices architecture. I will recommend this to any one who wants to get into microservices architecture. – Michael Gyekye
5–Stars: Brilliant course. Great overview of what constitutes a microservices architecture. Well done Sean. – Akoni Tee

The explanation is right but, he need to improve his pronunciation and the subtitles are no right
Francisco Russo –
Great way to be inducted on microservices world. Could talk a little bit faster, nevertheless a great course!!!
Patrick Demers –
Good high level overview. It feels like a part 2 for this course would be nice that goes into advanced topics and code examples.
Lasse Vang Gravesen –
Good intro, but not very in depth.
Sachin Verma –
Concise and provides pointers for further study

NO HANDS ON, PLEASE TO AVOID PROBLEMS WITH ANOTHER STUDENT ADD THIS INFO ON THE COURSE DESCRIPTION

The course up to the last 40 mins is outstanding. In the last 40 mins, the tools and technologies for various components of microservices like logging, API gateway, service discovery, etc, are explained without any explanation of what/why of these components which are very unlike the rest of the course wherein everything is explained in the right amount of details with real world examples. I think if the last 40 mins of the course can be re worked, then this course can be just perfect with 5 star ratings. I must say the course instructor is very proficient and knowledgeable.
Deepansha Wadhera –
hands on
Pratima Mirdha –
Good crisp content
Ben Griffiths –
The monotonous tone and pace of delivery needs addressing. It sounds like some just reading verbatim from a script. Content seems reasonable enough.
Anand Rai –
Good for Beginners.
Vinay Venugopalan –
Great introductory course. A lot of information to take in.

The slide is a bit monotonous. Text is small.
Marcin Kaminski –
Very, very good introduction to Microservices Architecture. Step by step presentation of the idea, key components and some sample usage scenarios. What I really enjoyed is a set of recommendation for moving existing monolith into microservice based solution.
Atreyee Bhaduri –
beginner level course

Would like to be able to speed up video to 1.5 or 2x speed as this speaker is very slow talking.

Theoretical course but helps understand all the moving parts for a beginner to microservice.
Rafael Perez –
Excellent, content, pacing, and delivery. I enjoyed this course!
Jens Rene Suckert –
A good introduction into microservices. I found it a bit too shallow. Would have liked a bit more on anti patterns and pitfalls.
Poonam Kamboj –
This course gives a glance about microservices and worth going for it if you are looking to gain a high level undetstanding. This course does require prier understanding of SDLC and benefits more if you are or have been a software programmer.
