What is Node.js?
Node.js, or Node, is a runtime environment for executing JavaScript code outside of a browser. It is ideal for building highly–scalable, data–intensive backend services (APIs) that power your client’s apps (web or mobile apps).
Why learn Node?
Node is great for prototyping and agile development as well as building super fast and highly scalable apps; Companies like Uber and PayPal use Node in production to build applications because it requires fewer people and less code. Plus, Node has the largest ecosystem of open–source library, so you don’t have to build everything from scratch.

Nice Course. What i liked about the course is the way it is structured and the way it has been taught by Mosh. What i don’t like is the music in the starter videos 🙂 .
Ajmal Khan –
Excellent course. I did not give 5 stars because the course has not been updated and inspite of many students complaining about a few bugs in the app, no one is paying attention to the bugs. Moreover, the teaching assisstant, an old student, does not have the competence to answer studnets’ questions and is often, therefore, very rude. He deletes his reude remarks once pointed out. He promises students that he will find out answer to a questoin but many posts show that he does not answer questions later on. So, take the course if you are mentally ready for no help from the teacher and the teaching assistant.

There is better ways to update the node version like nvm ls remote looking for versions and nvm install version. Also, didn’t explain how to switch between versions eg: nvm use 10.12.2, I had to search it on the web
