Totally Worth It!!! I recommend this course to anyone who is new to PHP and want to learn it,just go for it.Edwin makes it easy for you.By the end of the course, you will be able to write the code on your own and will be able to create some application. Edwin will keep motivating you at every stage of the course to keep going on and in the end you will feel that you really have learnt the PHP and that feeling of accomplishing something is awesome. God bless you Edwin.

php is the language which i wanted to learn from past few years, i didn’t find any way to learn, i tried many sources to learn it, each time i got distracted. i have been on udemy from past few years, actually i was scared before taking this course, as this course is very big, during lockdown i decided to make a purchase to this course. guys don’t think too much like me just go ahead, it will change your carrier. even though you are not expert in html, css, javascript you can choose this course and become a backend engineer.

Really good explanation, actually I am expecting the course to be carried out on windows OS, though it can be followed on MAC OS, but little bit getting confused in the usage aspect, uncomfortable in need to pause and replay the videos.

The course is very thorough. Once the CMS is completed, the instructor continues adding features, fixing bugs, and giving us more practice. The course could include a little bit more theory on the language, but I understand that, being so practical, it is not the intention. The instructor shows experience and is relatable. He makes mistakes, finds them, fixes them, just like in real development. Of course, he could repeat the recordings to show a version without the errors, but then we would miss the process of how he finds them, and the explanation. I find it actually positive for learning. I can only find three problems with the course: His code formatting (indentation) is very sloppy. This, of course, is common among web developers, and he fixes it a bit as the course progresses (especially when he changes to an IDE). For most of the course, he calls the variables that hold the results of queries with a name that implies that they are queries. He later changes this, I suppose somebody also told him. I wouldn’t redo all the videos just because of this, but I think that Edwin from the future could give a small explanation when this is first done. He completely skips SQL aggregate functions when they would be more efficient (Edwin, my friend, COUNT() is faster than counting the rows of the returned dataset!). I will recommend this course to any friends who are interested in learning PHP.

Alright course, it’s a bit fast. I’m unable to absorb the information in videos less than 5 minutes on average. It’s not for me.
