Edwin is a great instructor. Yeeees, he says aight a lot, but it somehow keeps my attention on the stuff he’s trying to teach me.
Director –
Verbal explanations are a bit confusing at times but explains it well in code.

Edwin is a great instructor! He’s enthusiastic and easy to listen to and this course is really expansive. I’m about 20% through the course and it seems like it’s going to be 2 courses in one. The first part is really an overview of Laravel. The second part is building the CMS which I think is a smart way of approaching such a large project. He does a good job of describing the relationships of the different parts. My only complaint is that it was pretty difficult to get the Laravel environment set up. I watched Edwin’s updated mini course on setting up the local environment; it helped but I ended up using the Vagrant/Homestead/Laravel documentation because there were enough differences to make the setup confusing. I think because everything is updated so frequently it makes having definitive setup instructions difficult to keep updated. I will definitely be taking his OOP course and would highly recommend this course.

This is a great course for everyone who wants to master laravel. The explanation by the trainer is comprehensive and step by step.
Jeff Anderson –
Very informal, repeatedly asks me Alright? Not well organized and keeps referring to things as cool and super easy or super simple. In short unscripted and only about 1 minute of actual value out of 9 minutes. Why did we just watch you configure your settings? That was a complete waste of time.

Professor Edwin explains every small thing in detail , so even for users who are not familiar with PHP at all it’s easy to grasp it.

Everything was fine until we have reached the super confusing part with gulp, that is not used in newer versions, after that, I could not get provided layouts to work properly, so now nothing is working and I just have to quit. Now when we have finally reached the part where we are supposed to create an application, everything broke and I can’t keep track anymore. This is made in Laravel 5.2, but a few days ago Laravel 7 was released. This was a waste of money for me…

It could be better to have increased font size to use in mobile. But so far, the lectures are fine
