Good value for money, it could include a little bit more of examples of SQL queries. But overall I’m satisfied. Recommend!
Tomasz Pietruszka –
Seems to be focused on practical aspects, which is what I was looking for
Automatt –
The trainer is very descriptive and engaged in making all the details very clear.

Decent course about BigQuery, I liked the part 2. where he explains what is going on under the hood of BigQuery
Lukasz Wojdowski –
Short lectures, easy to follow, acctually nice to get started with BigQuery, especially when you are also working in python for data science.
Pawe Urban –
Nicely served, practical and compressed BigQuery knowledge dish!

I hate to be giving out the first non 5 star review, but the tutorial could be more polished. Tips for improvement: 1. Explain that the data set is located in the Resources section prior to the video. When we are in full screen going video after video, we don’t see which videos have resources available. 2. Take a brief pause between when you say something and when you actually click on something in the video. I pause just a bit too late and keep having to rewind 5 seconds. Not all of the instructions are clearly laid out for someone that’s never used Google Big Query (example, declaring a new data field for that checkbox that we added). I had to follow the mouse very carefully to see where you go 3. Test it out before recording! 4. Speak a little louder and type a little softer. Your typing is sometimes louder than your speaking *updated; instructor was detailed and quick in responding questions.

Rather than slides, it would be more helpful using examples of moving data in and out of BQ using command line line or client library. Moving data (beyond 1GB) in and out will be one of the most repeated tasks using BQ. Disclosure: I’ve not finished watching the entire course.
