Probability is probably the most fundamental skill you need to acquire if you want to be successful in the world of business. What most people don’t realize is that having a probabilistic mindset is much more important than knowing “absolute truths”.
You are already here, so actually you know that.
And it doesn’t matter if it is pure probability, statistics, business intelligence, finance or data science where you want to apply your probability knowledge&

After a few sections with covering probability, it has been a great overview what Data Science is all about.

A very nice course that explains the foundation concepts on probability and statistics with good visual aids and examples.

From the perspective of somebody with some experience reading and using Excel Pivot Tables, but no experience whatsoever in Statistics, I found this course really engaging and clear. The lessons were comprehensive and the practice exercises were truly inspiring. I’d recommend this course to more people. If I can comment on one thing, although the course notes are really clear and useful, it would be good to have a general summary of all topics, including all formulas, to be used in our future probability calculations. In any case, I enjoyed the course a lot.

Great course with excellent examples. Use of spreadsheets make it easy to visualize the concepts.

Pros: Very well designed course. The pace is perfect. You have a few Aha! moments. (Especially the Conditional Probability examples. I have always struggled to understand its essence. But, Thanks to you now I get it.) The visualisations better aid the understanding of the concepts. Though the number of topics covered are limited, each of them is very well explained. Cons: I just hope there was more detailed notes which included all the examples in the lectures. Overall a great course for beginners and folks who want to touch up on their basic probability concepts. Recommended!
