One of so many amazing courses from Brad. I have learned a lot in this course.
Tebby Thomas –
This course is excellent! Brad delves into all the major functionalities of Django and creates an almost fully functional version of a Real Estate web application. Some finer details that I appreciated were customising the admin section, sending out real emails when inquiries were made, pagination, forms pre filling up if the user is authenticated, etc. For deployment, the course gives clear cut instructions to simplify deployment on a digital ocean server with a special discount code which gives 2 months free access. This was a nice surprise. For me the only disappointment is that the tutorial does not include how the front end was created. Hoping a YouTube playlist is added to address this. Overall I highly recommend this course! Lots to learn and Brad simplifies the dense material beautifully! Thanks a lot Mr. Brad Traversy!

I am creating this rating about halfway through the course to say that I am soo grateful that I found this course. It has been so helpful in helping me understand how to use Django from a professional standpoint. Such a great teacher.
Anastasiia Horban –
I really like about this course that I can do the whole project on my own, just follow step by step after the author. This is a great way to remember and understand everything. Thank you for this course!

Brad simply is an impeccable teacher!

This course was amazing. Brand is really an excellent teacher, I’m a fan of his courses. I love programming and Brad helps me to understand the most important aspect of Django quickly with a very complete project!. Recommended 300%! Thanks!
Ricardo Escudero –
Just great!! Very clear and well exposed. Thanks.
Teklit Habtemariam –
Excellent Work. And professional presentation! Well done. This was the exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much.
Ahmed Nisham –
So far, so good. He keeps answering all the questions that come to my mind.

I am midway in the course, Brad has really built the web app from scratch(that is ok of not showing front end design from scratch as this is more from django perspective). Its really good till now, best way to learn is by doing it and that is what brad has done. I will write full review once i complete the course. I will definitely suggest others to buy this course whoever intends to learn django.
Austin Roberts –
Great course! Coding along with Brad allows me to understand little things that may be confusing in the documentation. I really like the single project aspect of the course. I feel much more confident with django. Thanks Brad!
Hama Jokel –
Great practical course. Learned a lot. Recommended if you have some basic web dev knowledge, I imagine it would be a bit overwhelming if you have never worked with basic web dev.
Payam Shoghi –
I really like the course by Brad, but as an experienced C#, ASP.Net developer, I wished that Brad would spend a couple of videos and would go in depth in how Django actually works. What is the data pipeline? How the request starts? Show us the journey of a request through the Django framework. If Brad makes such a video, then this training will be much more insightful.
Zachary Avant –
Brad is an excellent teacher. I will be taking more of his courses in the future.
Gilbert Getuya –
It will be one of the application I’m looking to develop.
Kevin Althaus –
Easy to follow and clear explanations
Bryand Josu Flores Medina –
Es muy bueno pero si se asume conocimiento previo en HTML y CSS
Rob Meeker –
Brad continues to be a top notch instructor. I’ve gotten more value than I can count out of his youtube channel so I’m always happy to support him!
Kennedy Kenina –
This is a very great course. What I liked about this tutorial is that it is a project based training. Brad has structured it in such a way that it gives you a practical approach on how to use and apply different web app components to design and develop web applications that can be used in real world scenario. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This course is for professional who learned Django before ,this is absolutely not for a beginner. Though i likes Brad’s courses in youtube this course is pretty disappointing. His teaching here seems like as i know everything about django well before. Poorly constructed course.
Rituraj –
Excellent Course Structure. This is probably one of the best django bootcamp you will find anywhere else.
Debra Venckus –
Very happy with the flow & structure of the course. Easy to follow. Nicely outlined.
Chad Palmer –
Brad lays the foundation for any topic he covers with just the right amount of detail in simple terms. That’s exactly what I need as an entry level developer to get the work process flowing and away from tutorial purgatory. All that advanced stuff comes with experience that wouldn’t happen in the first place without courses like this.
Muhammad Shaheer Munir –
A great course for all. helped me a lot understanding django. highly recommended. It would have been better if the domain addition was done through any free service (if there is any) because I am completely new to this but apart from that, very clear and very well explained. THANKS BRAD !!!
Marcus Monterroso –
Feel good about Django and learning the skills for a production environment. Teaches solid fundamentals for developing a django app. Deploying to the web is a case of copying and pasting, rather than learning the ins and outs of Nginx or Gunicorn, but a solid course overall.
Steven Olsen –
It was decently relevant. The course is a couple years old now (2018). Also, it would be nice to see the instructor’s face talking in the corner during the explanations. I would like to learn about REST (and GraphQL) APIs as well, for a React front end (instead of jinja templating).

A lot of the actual content in this course is great. Everything taught functions, but my understanding is that the course needs a major update. Compared to other courses, there is limited explanation to much of this content. Additionally, Django now offers class based views that aren’t even mentioned in this course. While the function based views work fine, class based views would be much better (but require this course to have a significant overhaul). One small example of why this is relevant is in regards to the filterable search form (which is great). Unfortunately, we have to strip out our pagination for this to work whereas a class based view would allow us to filter content and expand the filter to multiple pages. Furthermore, up to this point, there has been no mention regarding file storage. If this course is really about deployment, how can a real estate web app operate if it can’t store the 1000s of potential photos somewhere (e.g. AWS). In the examples we have seen it works because the number of photos saved in the project is small ( 15). All in all and based on everything I have discovered from other courses, the content presented is now dated. Hopefully I can take away some of the features learned and apply it to projects that use more up to date Django features, but that is yet to be tested.

Amazing course. I took like the 5 first sections and already had seen enough to start building the back end of my own website (which front end I already had), in addition to the real estate project the course offers. Couldn’t ask more.
Sam Fawzi –
a bit longer than other videos
Sean Bernardino –
Good so far.
Secu Dorin –
I find the information and the way he’s explaining very helpful.
Cckcoder chaobaankoh –
awesome course and teacher.
Nti Boakye Daniel –
Arguably one of the best courses I’ve taken on Django. Brad is so ‘real’ with his approach to teaching; he makes you well aware that he’s not some superhuman who’s got every line of code memorized, but takes you through the process of learning to figure things out, and coming up with a workable solution. I intend to take more of his courses.
Stevyn Shen –
Great content, example, step by step guide through, and explanations. Lack of feedback/Q&A is supported by the learning community on the course; this also develops a programmer’s troubleshooting skills. Overall happy with the course.
Tefera Endale Agdew Mergia –
I learned a lot!
Sergio Marcano –
If you are a programmer already and know about web concepts, this course is great, you will learn fast and waste no time but things will be clear, I really like this about Brad. Straight to the point and with nice examples that make you understand.
Burak Yavuz –
It was very clean and direct to the point course with a lot of hands on real world examples.
Steve A Morris –
This is a great course. I took a 90 day 9 hr per day Bootcamp last year, but got sidetracked donating a kidney. This course has rekindled my passion for development and got my brain reengaged. I like Brad’s teaching style.
Chen Hsien Chang –
I have attended another Django course but this is much better. It is more structured and easier to learn. I would recommend this course.
Alex –
Brad is thorough and has a calm tone, making it a very enjoyable process to learn something hard and difficult for a beginner like me. Great course!
Tony Dominguez –
Best teacher around.
Juan Eric Johnson –
I am learning good practical experience with Brad’s course. I cannot say it is above expectations because I expected good quality from the start. However, I will still give it 5 stars for the quality. I do suggest that you review the Q&A thoroughly because the software has been updated since the course was offered. Overall, I am picking up a lot of hidden gems in the course along with the main topic. Well Done.

This hands on django course cover the practical aspect of building with django. I learnt alot from building the app in django to proper production setup and deployment as well.
