Wanting to learning Python for Excel Use cases? I’ll show you the basics here. We’ll cover the fundamentals of python, numpy, pandas, and matplotlib, to get you to a functional level of using python with your excel workbooks.
We’ll start with a python bootcamp that will get complete beginner to a python user who can execute scripts and create functions.
Once we complete the bootcamp, we’ll go through tools of the trade lessons where you’ll learn all the things that can help make you a better python developer.
After completing that, we’ll introduce NumPy, and go through practice exercises to get you functional with our first python library, NumPy.
We’ll iterate over some more tools of the trade sections for software that will make you a stronger developer.
Then we’ll get into the fun part and look at how we can begin using pandas to do our data manipulation tasks.
Throughout the course, the main emphasis is to provide you project use cases that I hope will resemble your own use cases. I want to be coding on your own data ASAP and the goal of the projects is to provide you the tools to do so.

It is a lot more basic python than expected really, but if you are experienced, it is easy to speed up the content or even skip, so that shouldn’t be a problem. For myself it is great to get it explained on this basic level.

section 3: more info around windows user couldve been specified and why is 1.38v specifically being used over other versions. What are packages ? was preety lost until here. Lets see once i proceed probably all the above may get simpler and answered. still very much interested. thank you

the course is very good but there is a need to explain some basic staff (not related to python) like creating PATH, using CD to run files also to update things like using PIP for example i need to run the line python m pip installation …)

Just what I needed to start some python data projects: Perfect for a beginner with some python coding knowledge to be taken to the next level.

The concepts around numpy could have been explored more with examples and scenarios. Concepts on Pandas was explored well, but more complex solutions / tasks could have been incorporated.

It s good so far but there are a few simple items left off of the lessons that can cause a delay. Ex. You have to save the script before it can run in the terminal.
Chong Ming Koh –
Interesting way to teach students online with clear steps to run through the codes. The course could be better if include pivot table tutorial on data using python, vlookup or other excel functions we use to crunch data in python.
