The instructor used sketchbook application to write down the lecture material while he was presenting it. It made many thing verify difficult to read. This information should be provided in a more professional, readable style The use of the protocol chart (resources, URL, Method, Parameters, Status Codes) is a good practice….but again… make it more readable I never got the Similarity API to work. I had the same problem that was reported by another student 2 months ago. I download the instructor’s resource (source code) files and tried to run the instructor’s solution and also got the same error. The lesson on moving the software from a local machine to an AWS provided machine was filled with so many errors that the instructor finally resolved, but it made this entire lesson extremely confusing. Now that the instructor knows every step that needs to be completed, he need to re record this lesson without all of the errors.

I finally understand Docker. Thanks.
Varun Nalluri –
I highly recommend this to the people who want to get started on APIs. This course is crisp and right to the point.
Dominika Buk –
Nice hands on course. I found project examples really useful.
Robert Lewis –
exactly what i needed
Ayman Judeh –
Thank you, highly recommended for Beginners.
Jose A Morales Lujan –
Great course, quite pragmatic, which is useful for programmers with previous knowledge in python but no knowledge in flask and APIs.
Eric Park –
Good course, but skims over the details and just allows you to get things up and running. Good for those who are short on time but for those who want to learn in depth
Grut Rut –
Good content but I’m not sure if the course is still maintained/supported. Tried to follow it at the beginning of 2020 and had problems with accessing some functionality. Questions (not mine) that were left months ago are still hanging.

wordt nauwelijks toegelicht wat te doen als een stap niet lukt zoals installeren van Ubuntu op VirtualBox bijvoorbeeld. Wat zijn de caveats en hoe los je die op ?
Amit Kolurwar –
The concepts are very well explained.
Andrew Figaroa –
The sound quality could be better, but overall It is well done

I love the course because instructor is teaching step by step with full support of coding part, extra installation were covering as well, plus focusing on implementation without complicating the task. I was following the course material and didn’t get any blocks to trouble shoot my code. It likes win win for me. Thank you!!!

I think overall the content is ok. The reason I don’t score it higher is for the following reasons. Several of the lectures are unfocused and need to be reshot. There is a lot of copying and pasting code, which besides the fact that copying and pasting code is a bad code smell, it also makes following along very difficult. The section on image recognition is almost useless because once again the instructor is copying pasting code from links on the internet that no longer exist. To compound it, the explanation is not sufficient to understand what your doing. Another annoying fact is the instructor is not replying to posted questions in the Q&A, so your left on your own to figure out your problems. So overall its just ok.

I have learned a lot from this course and really enjoy the instructor’s teaching style. However, I have noticed that questions from new students were not answered by the instructor, which makes it difficult to learn when you ran into a problem. Nonetheless, with the help of QA and google, I managed to finish the course.

Good, knowledgeable instructor. However, a lot of duplication, e.g. /register covered many times, etc. Section 9 was rushed. Was also expecting more information on running Flask in Production environments.
Miguel Aguilera G’amez –
It was a great choice
Ralph Puzon –
Instructor is clear and concise to the point, I enjoyed this course very much!
Philani Ram –
yep it is a good match, because i’ve just started working in a new company and i will be working with python flask
Andrew Macmillan –
The content is super useful because it covers a good range of production environment tools, which are missing from many programming courses. I’m only giving 4 stars and not 5 because of the guys handwriting in his hand written notes sections. His notes are illegible and look like a 3 year old wrote them, it really wouldn’t be hard to improve this aspect of the course but the creator hasn’t bothered and frankly it just reduces the quality of the course
Alexandros Collie –
It was ok course. I think the course needed more real world example.
Yen Shuo Huang –
Nice and clear!
David Mart nez Barreiro –
There is AWS DevOps on the course title but there is only one video about AWS is only about the most simple deployment on an EC2 instance. That’s not what I was expecting from a course that has the words AWS DevOps in the title

voice recording is average. Course material is good. Projects could be more diverse.
