R (R Programming) is a language and environment for statistical computing and graphics. R provides a wide variety of statistical (linear and nonlinear modelling, classical statistical tests, time–series analysis, classification, clustering, ) and graphical techniques and is highly extensible.
In this course you will get an introduction to the main tools and ideas in the data scientist’s toolbox. The course gives an overview of the data, questions, and tools that data analysts and data scientists work with. This course is truly step–by–step. In every new tutorial we build on what had already learned and move one extra step forward.
In this course, you will learn:
R Introduction
R Variables and Operators
Data Structure
Functions
Flow Control
R Packages
Import Data
Exploring Data With R
Softwares used in Course
R Studio
On course completion, You will be Mastered in R Language and can implement Successfully it in your work place or will surely land on High Paying Job.

It is just a start and looks interesting as R program fits well in all aspects. So lets see how things are further in the course.

I did gain some knowledge from this course, but i also have a few complaints. In the data import section it would have been nice to briefly explain setting up an ODBC DSN. The topic is not too complicated and could have been done relatively quickly. That would be added value, a little extra knowledge given to the students. In the last section, the course content was very repetitive. The video describing mean was basically copied and pasted to go over the median function, the median could have been lumped into the mean() video very easily. IMHO it appears the instructor was trying to stretch the course length without providing any real value. The very last course video leaves off with ext we will be discussing … and then the course is over. So from the instructors own words the course is incomplete. no wrap up, so summary, just truncated.

Thanks for a very informative course
Prisca Han –
Great course the instructor clearly explains concepts in a way that’s easily understandable for a beginner who has never worked on a programming language before.

satisfactory

Great understanding and break down of the information.

Irgendwie schlecht abgeschlossen.
