Good explanation for basic sass. Topics are explained very well but use of those in project could have gave a much better understanding to learner how we do it in projects. Overall very good course to understand basics of sass. just voice is missing the zeal 😛 . Great job!!!!

The course started out great. I always prefer the shorter lectures so that if I need to review a particular topic I can do so without having to scrub through a very long video to find what I’m looking for. The SASS part of the course would have been a 4.5 to 5 star course by itself. Where the instructor dropped the ball was the project. It’s like the focus of the course took a turn from SASS to Foundation and even when styling he only used variables and nesting. What was the point of attaching a project to a course on SASS if you don’t use SASS to style the page. No mixins, no functions, maps, lists, extensions, etc. So if I want to see SASS used in a real world project I now have to go find another course or use another resource. BTW, that project was horrendously designed. Looks like something designed by someone with 10 days html and css experience and not someone with 10+ years. I understand developers are not designers but you could have found a sample on ‘behance’ or somewhere and copied for reference,

This course is pretty good if you already have an okay understanding of CSS. The Final Project where the teacher uses Foundation to create a Portfolio site was just okay and I don’t feel it added any other value to the previous chapters. It would have been more valuable had it used some of the commands/functions/loops, etc. in a real world situation.

I really enjoyed my experience from section 1 to 18, but the course project was too weak compared to the 95% of the course content. I was expecting the usage of Sass to create components, some loops, how to write more with less only with Sass and other crazy stuff.

Thank you Ashutosh for this really succinct and to the point course on Sass and SCSS. In this course I have learned all the major SCSS features that I have the privilege of using at work on a regular basis. Despite the many pros, these are the reasons for which I am not giving this course a 5/5 rating: 1) The setup for Foundation relies on an older version of Node (and Gulp) and thus, this was a stumbling block for me. Luckily, googling the problem resulted in a few suggestions that helped me get through. But there should be some instructions in the course that takes the newer Node versions into account and update the software setup procedure accordingly. 2) As resonated in a lot of other reviews for this course, it is evident that the final project doesn’t utilize everything that are being taught in earlier lessons. Addressing this would definitely improve the course quality manyfold. Thanks again Ashutosh and hope to take more courses from you in the future!

Solid course, a lot of YouTube instructions are convoluted and confusing. This instructor gets right to the point and provides instruction in a clear, cogent manner. 5/5 stars : ).

The course was a perfect intro to SASS for beginners. My only feedback is that I wish we had implemented some of the unique SASS features like mixins in building the portfolio site.

As of now, I am halfway through the course. The content is explained clearly and concisely and are right to the point. I do wish that some of the examples were real world practical examples. I also wish some things were explained a little more in depth. Great course so far!
