Welcome to The Extensive Webgl Series – Part II – Single And Multiplayer Online Client–Server 3D Game Development Using WebGL’s BabylonJs.
This is the second course in my extensive webgl series. While watching the first course first is recommended, it is not a strict prerequisite for this second course.
In This course you will learn how to create 3D Games inside BabylonJS. BabylonJs is a very nice 3d game engine written in Javascript, that allows creating very nice games quickly and effectively to be run directly on the browser.
The course is divided into two main sections : The Single–player section, and the Multi–player section.
In The single–player section you will learn the following :
In the multiplayer section you will learn the following :

This course lays out some stuff with a fluid explanation that works well in tandem with the examples on babylon.js website. The instructor is knowledgeable and friendly.

This course is great so far. Very good pacing and I love how he makes mistakes and shows how to trace the errors.
Anthony Smith –
A good course that helps you learn babylon.js nicely.

Well explained lessons from the very basis to the advanced topics.

I am hardly done with the course. I have the basic hello world example complete, thanks to some excellent help from the teacher. I have learned some stuff, lots of stuff about JavaScript, and some about my computer, and some about cloud hosting. I am enjoying the rewarding feeling taking this course. I am glad there is this resource and I do not have to study the documentation and tutorials on babylon.js by myself without a guide. I appreciate the teacher teaching this course.

I am actually very disappointed!!!! I have over 6 years of programming experience and i felt scammed in this course. This course is not only poorly edited, but super unprofessional!! To get it straight: – Poor choices of variable types (var, let, const) – always uses var. – The code is overall in bad shape (performance, clean code, etc). – VERY ANNOYING SUBTITLES (+hard to understand the English accent) – Periodically i saw how the owner of this course was searching stuff like how to create static variables in JavaScript after running into an issue while writing the code live(there are like minimum 5 annoying cuts on each lecture) but dude… at least close your chrome tabs before cutting the video. – Running from one bunch of inefficient code to another in a matter of seconds, like he was in a rush to finish the lecture asap. – Overall feeling SCAMMED.

So far so good. The basics seem very well laid out. I look forward to the more advanced topics, which is my goal: Scene manipulation, level management, character, world construction are the actual topics I believe will be delivered in later classes, but haven’t gone through them yet.

If you’re eager to learn how to make BabylonJS games and have at least a basic understanding of JavaScript, I highly recommend this tutorial. PROS: – Covers a broad range of topics – Explains all the math – Keeps it fairly simple CONS – Goes back to fix code virtually every change – Code is a little bad structurally – A little hard to understand with his accent

I have been searching for a complete course on BabylonJS for a very long time. I could not find any good books or any complete tutorial on YouTube. I can honestly say that this is the best complete instructional video on BabylonJS out there so far. You can tell that the instructor is very knowledgeable and a subject matter expert on this subject. It did not take me long to apply what I learn from these lessons on to my own projects. This is one of the best investment I ever made on udemy.com thus far!!!

It is shedding light on how to use different objects and change the object’s behavior.

I don’t know why guys are rating this course low. This is a great course which covers a lot of aspects when coding with Babylon which doesn’t find elsewhere. I will definitely rate this course to 5 since there is no other good alternative here so far on the subject.

Yes, I had to set some things up differently. But, I was able to figure those out on my own.
