**** This course contains pretty much everything you need to master SQL. ****
The majority of people that consider SQL as a qualification do so for career and personal development reasons.
Mastering SQL is considered to be the No1 qualification that will boost your career.
You’ll learn how to read and write complex queries to a database using one of the most in demand skills – PostgreSQL. These skills are also applicable to any other major SQL database, such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, Oracle, and much more.
When you can work with SQL, it means you don’t have to rely on others sending you data and executing queries for you. You can do that on your own. This allows you to be independent and dig deeper into the data to obtain the answers to questions that might improve the way your company does its business. For instance, Database management is the foundation for data analysis and intelligent decision making.
Learning SQL is one of the fastest ways to improve your career prospects as it is one of the most in demand tech skills! In this course you’ll learn quickly and receive challenges and tests along the way to improve your understanding!

Great experience, I absolutely now feel 100% comfortable with putting SQL on my resume. Great instructor that walks through every scenario with a well paced structure. The course went smooth and it was straight forward and easy to comprehend much better than other courses that I’ve took. Very easy to understand the professor and not back tracking trying to trouble shoot the course. Which should of already been done with a quality assurance check from the creators of the course itself. I was pleased with the information that was provided within this class. Now, it’s time to practice, practice, practice!!!

This is a very nice course for absolute beginners. But only for those. So why 3.5 stars only? Because the structure of the course is broken. The title suggests (superficially) covering various dbms. In reality it demonstrates the use of very basic sql in MySQL and touches on other dbms during the demonstration of ONE sql feature. This course could profit tremendously from a slightly longer discussion of the various sql dbms systems, their philosophies, their place in the market and differences. The more complete disconnect is between the section on sql and the short section on programming. The latter is an introduction to programming, again for complete beginners. This is the wrong content in the wrong place. I would like to have seen a section here how code/scripts can interact with various databases including odbc etc. None of that appears here.
