HOW IS THIS COURSE DIFFERENT?
My name is Kathleen, and I’ve been teaching technology to beginners under the moniker Robobunnyattack! since 2009. I believe that with the right approach, anyone can learn anything.
My goal in this course is to help you develop an intuitive understanding of how HTML and CSS work.
In this course, we’ll create a simple Coming Soon webpage using valid HTML5 and CSS3 code. As we work together, I’ll explain WHY the code we write looks the way it does. I’ll point out the simple patterns in the code, so you can learn more quickly and with more confidence.
As we build our webpage, we’ll cover:
By the end of this course, you’ll be able to use HTML and CSS with confidence, following best practices every step of the way.

Good, nice and slow, exactly what i need
Rachel Lawlis –
Great teacher and class, however it is a little outdated so a few of the concepts I had to use a different software (Text Wrangler is now BBEdit and there are minor shifts in details) and other little things I had to work around.
Claudia Frank –
It is a course for absolute beginners. It is very thoroughly explained. For my taste, sometimes a bit too lengthy, but if someone is a novice , this might be perfect.
Tim McKay –
Plain speak explaining questions that I had noting that text wrangler has now been retired and have downloaded BBEdit instead. Hoping it all works out

Absolutely fabulous course if like me you re not sure about creating a website or single webpage. I m a florist and knew absolutely nothing, now I m hungry for more. Will say this is a somewhat dated course but still very applicable today in 2020. There s even some tidbits I found useful for the next course I m on. I thoroughly recommend this course to anyone fearful of website development, the tutor is very reassuring and each lesson is fun. Bravo.
