As described by Michael himself, it is a very broad course that covers different uses of python in the GIS field. This course introduced much of the applications and frameworks i have only heard of, and it demonstrated it well. Looking forward for the next course to come out. In the meantime, i purchased other courses by Michael, as he explains very simply and thoroughly. The only drawback, except to the lack of getting deeper in the material in each section, is the lack of access to preexisting materials and data Michael uses in some of the videos (csv/text files, databases, shapefiles etc.). All in all, i enjoyed the course and learned a lot from it. Thank you very much

Another fine course from Mr. Mike. Where I am with Python (a beginner but getting close to an intermediate level) I found the material a good review of many concepts. Especially useful were the examples which touched upon geospatial usage and, even more so, those lessons which were especially directed to geospatial and analytical functionality near the end of the course. Wish there were more of them but it looks like his new course Automating QGIS 3.xx with Python expands into the intermediate space nicely with extra material. The course is about an hour longer than listed due to missing video lengths in the curriculum.

Perfect class to get entry level overview of python with a GIS focus. Have taken several of Mike’s courses and have benefited from everyone of them.

I have purchased multiple courses from Mr. Miller. Every lecture I have viewed has been worthy of a five star rating in my opinion due to the level of detail included.
