In this course, we will learn how to:
Train a machine learning model using Tensorflow.js and Google’s Teachable Machine service
Make predictions on what an image is showing
Sort images into categorized folders
The ability to train and deploy an image model is incredibly powerful.
You could apply this skill to industries such as Healthcare, Business, Teaching, and much more.
Or you could even sort your own personal photos using these techniques!
For this course, we will take a dataset from Kaggle showing individuals who are wearing face masks and not wearing face masks. Then we will train our machine learning model based on these photos. Using Tensorflow.js, we can then make predictions on a new set of images. And finally, we will use Node.js to sort our files into their corresponding directories.
In order to succeed at this course, you should have:
A basic understanding of how to code
Node.js installed on your computer
Visual Studio Code installed on your computer
Live Server extension installed in your VS Code editor
Please let me know if you have any feedback for need any help throughout this course. I am happy to assist any student at any step of the way.
This is an exciting journey, and you will learn a lot by building a hands–on application using Tensorflow.js, Node.js, and basic web technologies.
