the instructor is just reading the slides instead of explaining what it actually means, and there was this error in one of the slide he created but didn’t bother to mention about it , so disappointing , wish he could really teach instead of just reading the slides.

it was good to learn a new coding language and a database management software I will need for work. The teacher was fairly methodical. however, the almost entirely lecture format was not as helpful as the assignments were (and several other websites that actually explained SQL and relational databases in plain language). I would suggest assignments and/or quizzes for each lecture chunk instead of just the two and the exam. Additionally, it needs to be specified that the first set of lectures on teradata requires a basic (or advanced I don’t know) understanding of how databases work. I was completely lost and no technical vocabulary was explained. Perhaps add a glossary of terms, or at least define them once in lecture. Maybe add a section on an overview of relational databases. Not a terrible course but definitely not worth the $20 I spent. I wish I’d bought a different one.

Too basic for me. Overall, the course is good for beginners. Unfortunately the instructor lacks attention on what he writes. The didactics is not very good. On the Teradata Utilities part (Fast Load, Multi Load, BTEQ and Fast Export), there are a few unexplained commands and one of them, which he says it will load all the data into the table, loads only one row, where should be load more rows, according to the txt file loaded.

So far, very time consuming to figure out installation processes. Would help to have videos of everything, even though instructor already had installed some on his computer. Took some guesses to figure out initial steps
