Morgan Walsh –
Good overview of what is covered, in the course, at the beginning. Thanks Colt, time to get started with this course. 🙂
Daivergent Udemy –
It will eventually be a good match for me.
Sarah Hermsen –
Colt is a great teacher. I’ve taken his web development bootcamp part 1 before I did an actual bootcamp and it put me in great shape to learn. This course is diving deep into some pretty awesome topics and I feel like I will be leveling up with this course. Even having been working as a developer for almost a year and a half I will be learning new content in this course!

I wanted to learn D3 in this course but Matt’s teaching method is awful. He just types codes and wants you to listen to him… no body needs to listen to you and watch you coding, we need to practice along. If you don’t have time to actually teach, please don’t waste ours.

Beginning: The course is establishing some great expectations. Based on past experience (WebDevBootcamp) I am optimistic it will deliver!
Justine Ayroor –
Awesome explanation. Exposed me to many useful tools.
Filip Komogorov –
The first sections that were about CSS Animations were really usefull and nice, as the teacher Colt has done amazing job explaining everything nice and comprehensively. The next section that is Code along creating startup page is the introduction to the second teacher Matt, who has no job teaching people if this is what he calls teaching. He justs codes his code and not explaining anything along the way, just trying to get his job done and get this out of his table. I am very disapointed i have my money for this course. I enjoyed the first one with Colt, but now I dont think I will even complete this one!!!!!

Colt is an excellent and proficient instructor. He is careful, precise (but not pedantic), and overall, just a fantastic instructor. I’ve been a computer scientist and software engineer for over 15 years, have B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in computer science, and I can genuinely say that Colt makes the life long learning I signed up for (by going into CS) much easier and enjoyable! 🙂

Unlike Colt’s first lecture, he has additional lecturers. They don’t explain concepts well and don’t give practical reasons for why a concept works. Such as I learnt about queues and asked us to figure out how a particular js function would go through the queue. We get it wrong. but the lecturer just went through the queue and showed us that we were wrong.. They did not say why what the students think is wrong.
Jon Le Marquand –
Some sections were really well explained, others just blew through the content, hard to follow and not a lot of examples.
B D Augustine –
Builds very well on what was covered in the previous web developer course! Looking forward to completing this one as well!
Luis Ruiz –
I previously purchase Colt first BootCamp and finish it, Decided to purchase this one. So far is much more input and details, I enjoy the learning approach method. So far thumbs up my opinion.
Jeff Lovell –
took the web developer bootcamp. excited for round 2.
Xiaofan Guo –
the curriculum part is still too massive, maybe use dynamic diagram and network to show the connection between different modules will be better
Darius Simmons –
Yes learning new skills for my tool belt for computers
Benjamin Dean –
I’ve seen good stuff like it before. The big problem is getting all this stuff into my thick skull no matter how good the course.
Assaf Duvdevani –
As I have done several courses by Colt, I was expecting this one to be as good as the others, but it wasn’t. The main problem of this course is the quality gap between Colt’s parts and the other instructors. All other instructors lack Colt’s ability to teach a subject, each of them with it’s own problems. If you liked Colt’s methods, and planning to take this course for that reason, you’ll be disappointed.
Madison Keck –
This is a great match for me. Super excited.
Victory –
Yes! It was a good match for me. You guys are the BEST!!! Just exactly what I need 🙂
Bineet Naidu –
It’s great… when it’s come to colt he knows what he is talking about.. he is a great teacher i love learning from him
Diwei Zhu –
rich content, but the quality is not identical. some parts are too fast and not clearly explainind. espacially the warbler, 80% of time on typing and hard to grab the idea of whats going on
Alex –
Unfortunately, it was the worst experience. Big minus to instructors, it looks like they just read information from the script (do you want to fell asleep okay welcome to this course) sorry it is not an audiobook we need more practical examples. In addition, some services used in the course are outdated and it’s difficult to follow the instruction when the service already have different UI and futures.
Opakirite Ibama. E –
The Lessons are not as engaging as it ought to be because tutors should be practical typing on to code editors/ IDE and not displaying pre arranged slides of programming codes during the lessons. Well from react to the end of the lesson is somehow better
James Robinson –
The course is great and there is a lot of great material, but it is definitely not maintained like the basic web developer bootcamp. Its also a bit hard to follow at times and some of the instructors besides Colt put me to sleep.
Crystal McNeil –
I am not even a quarter of the way finished with the course but I am excited about all the topics. More info after the course is finished. 🙂
Shyam Iyengar –
Great explanation Colt. I have also taken your python course and i have loved it. I am looking forward to start learning from your other courses which i will surely try
Leo Erez –
The course is ok, some parts of it cover the material thoroughly in a way it’s easy for a student to follow but there are many parts that are covered in an almost robotic way just showing the info with one example and not enough explanation and then exercises which sometimes contain uncovered materials (mostly unknown JS keywords that weren’t used or shown beforehand). overall some parts are nice but I would recommend looking for another course for advanced web development.
Richard Puckett –
This course is not a good match for anyone. This is an example of instructors that know the material well but have no idea what eaching technical material means. I could say that I am surprised that Colt participated in this but not true…his courses have recently taken the same turn. It is like the instructors, including Colt, are just talking to themselves or making a conference presentation of an overview of the material. There is no teaching or learning here. DO NOT BUY THIS COURSE AND EXAMINE COLT’S OTHER COURSES VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE BUYING THEM EITHER.
Satabdwi Sinha –
A fan of Colt and his teaching style!!!
Lawrence Crocker –
Very good course that covers a lot of topics while giving you enough information. As others have said, it is outdated at some points but between the Q/A sections and Google I was able to finish every project. Think this course will serve as a good springboard for determining where you want to focus after getting a very solid foundation in HTML, CSS and JS.
Balazs Szabo –
It’s Colt.That says everything.
