This course teaches the fundamentals but it is now too far out of date to be useful to anyone working on the current edition of Android Studio. Despite the promises made about support and questions answered it appears, through ongoing lack of responses, that the author/support team no longer have any interest in supporting or updating this app.

You can be a professional with this course. There are a lot of concepts of basic programming than is not follow in this course. Like create multiple classes, organise the code with some method, respect the SOLID concept. In term of Android we just create one activity all the time instead of create more when there are more than one screen. It’s nice if you just want to learn for fun. But if you want to be professionnal you need another course.

There is almost no information on how to build a modern (or any proper) user interface, with smooth transitions and data movement. Applications in the examples are non scalable :/ Suitable for total beginners only.

Der Kurs ist echt super aufgebaut. Das einzige was mir derzeit noch sorge bereitet ist, dass direkt beim Start von AndroidStudio die ersten Debug Fehlermeldungen kamen und im Kurs nirgends etwas von evt. Startproblemen beschrieben wird obwohl in den Frage und Antwort Fenster einige Nutzer waren die schwere Startschwierigkeiten hatten.
