The Complete Android Oreo Developer Course – Build 23 Apps!
$159.99 $23.99Track price
The Complete Android 8.0 Oreo Developer Course by Rob Percival and Nick Walter
Learn Android App Development with Android 8.0 Oreo by building real apps including Twitter, Instagram and Super Mario Run.
PLEASE NOTE: The most recent Android OS version from Google is Android 11. If you want to learn Android 11 development, check out our brand new The Complete Android 11 Developer Course: Build AMAZING Apps (taught by the brilliant Mashrur Hossain).
ALSO NOTE: In this Oreo course I use the older Android Studio 3.0.1 version throughout as it’s a great introduction to the development environment. For a smooth learning experience I’d recommend you use the same as me, but students can still use the latest Android Studio version available if they prefer!
Wish you d thought of Whatsapp/Instagram/Google Maps?
Me too.
But until I work out how to build a time machine.
Here s the next best thing.
The Complete Android O Developer Course
Kicking things up a notch from my smash–hit The Complete Android N Developer Course (59,000 students + 8,500 five star ratings) my latest course is your fast–track, skip–the–queue ticket to building high–calibre Android apps.
Because, let s face it you re busy. You want results. And you don t have time to hang around.

About everything and nothing in particular, so called java deep dive section is only a little more than 2 hours long and barely scratches the surface of Java. IMHO doesn’t give you 10% of java knowledge needed to create a more or less decent app, waste of time and money, going to ask for refund.

While the Android info is good the course introduces a lot of very bad Java coding habits. The latest Fading Animations also makes it seems like you are clicking on bart and then on homer, when in fact you are clicking on bart the whole time. This distinction is very important but not addressed by the course

Android studio download is now 3.5.3 and the interface is slightly different. But I was able to figure things out.

This is fun, Rob can teach without being boring. Which is near impossible for a online course.

greate course;
Joseph Harris –
It’s going well, he is precise in his teaching. Having done android development as a hobby, his explanations of why things work is more refreshing than simply the how.

He is great teacher. It just feels awesome watching how they can teach so smoothly and brilliantly. GOD BLESS HIM. Now you might be wondering why i gave 4 stars then , it’s because there is always a room for improvement.

I’ll say for people getting errors message (android emulator hypervisor driver error) when the try to run the virtual machine. Enabling the virtualization from my Bios worked for me (Windows 10). This could save some around 30 to an hour to figure out. but so far I like the teaching

This course is more about learning android studio than learning java. Learning java is easy. But I face difficulty while learning android studio commands. The trainer should teach android studio commands properly and systematically. Now it is happening with me that with every new video there are some new random options/commands being used in android studio which were never properly explained. It is difficult to memorize without understanding.
