I am taking this course as a person not looking to change careers, but I am looking to go into a computer science field after college. I am graduating This December and thought this course would be helpful. I have completed the first 2 sections so far and already have a ton of tools to help better prepare me for job searching. Some of those tools include constructing a list of Big Six Skills to help organize what you need to show in your resume, as well as some strategies in what to focus on during the interview process. The examples that are given are very hands on, because your given the documents that you see in the videos to follow along while watching the lecture.

The course is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a career in programming. I would like an iOS, android, full stack, or react native course that covers what companies are looking for in a software engineer. For example, Rob Percival’s iOS development course does not teach developers how to use MVC for iOS and this is crucial. A course that teaches developers how to write code the way it is written in the industry.

I have just started with this course and I must admit that there are many key areas which we, as job seekers, tend to overlook. Davis has highlighted these key areas perfectly. Four and a half starts because I’m still halfway through this course. Will update my review accordingly after my course is completed. Thanks for sharing your knowledge Davis! Cheers!

In general, for me as a person looking for entering in the IT market (I am a former Mathematics high school teacher) it looks like a good source of information into how to mount your resume. For now, I am finishing section 2 and that is my feeling. My expectations is that we could have some indications on programming languages on demand, technologies on demand and skills needed for the routine of a coding job. Thank you!

It has given me an understanding of what is required for a coding career. After more than a decade in Network Engineering, my skills are required to change into coding. This is giving me the confidence for the new direction of my career.

One of the many reasons on why giving 5 stars for this course is because is a dynamic. This mix of theory concepts + applicable terms + real world examples + interviews between Davis Jones and special guests is the perfect recipe. Though is a threaded topic , all the elements and thinking presented here can be apply almost in every domain. My advice is to run this course at least 2 times to understand it. First time is better to make a screening of the subjects presented in there and after(to see in what perspective you find yourself: junior developer , senior developer etc) , step by step apply the principles of Davis Jones. I can see with my eyes open that is a lot of documentation , that help people to present results of their work in a professional manner that I didn’t saw till now. There are presented all kind of situations from non experienced developer to expert developer and how to boost your profile and have a long term success in the job market. Take advantage with this course reshaping on how to get employed using the latest techniques and make you career a successfully one. When I write these things I made a screen and saw all the materials and now I will start making my CV , cover letters , put LinkedIn into a new perspective and chain them all in order to build my personal brand. Thank you EAZL team for this course. I highly recommend it !
