Lecturer is good and course is easy to follow, even problems with tool changes over the years are not too difficult to solve. But critical problem is that you will learn very very little MongoDB in this course. Second issue is the very fact that course has not been updated for Mongo and Mongoose changes and requires you to solve those bugs.

It’s not the course you want to buy in 2020. The course has not been updated for a while that’s why the overall rank can be misleading. You will deal with many deprecated content and two projects that don’t work without playing with setup. Too much time spent on testing. If you have basic knowledge of mongodb, most likely you won’t learn a lot. It was a good course in 2016 I guess.

Really annoyed by this course I think the Stephen is the great teacher, I love how he explain each concept, and this course would be 5/5 if it would be update. A lot of things are outdated and you have to manage it all on your own, spending a lot of time in Q&A section and on internet looking for answer what is a little bit frustrating.

I love the way Stephen teaches. This course was okay, but some of his courses are out of date and they are neither updated, or removed. Also, you don’t often get answers to your questions. With that said, to be honest, I will still take his more recent courses because I like the way he teaches
