In this tutorial, you will actually learn how to use the UMG to create User Interface easily.
When it comes to User Interface, the most simple thing can become difficult. A minor task like changing the size of a button or the color of an image can leave you frustrated, especially without the proper guidance.
That is why this course will spell out clear, concise details for features of Unreal Engine 4. It will teach you every element of User Interface, and in little to no time, you will be able to perform advanced logic (like hooking your health bar to your character.)
But that is just the beginning. This course will also show you how to:
Use widgets to make quality and fast User Interface.
Personalize your game by teaching you to customize images using User Interface.
Create bindings for things like progress bars and texts.
Furthermore, you skip all the hassles and cut to the chase to create images, texts, health and progress bars (saving you time and money.)
The course quickly familiarizes you with pallets. It then gives great example projects that help you understand the whole process. That way, you get an easy yet effective learning experience.

No, it would help if the instructor taught you how to get his exact user interface. Mine was different and I don’t know how to get it to match his. I don’t know what the palette is or how to find it.. Couldn’t follow along.

The first two videos are identical and start off with no explanation. If I wasn’t at all familiar with the program I would have been immediately and completely lost. The instructor does not explain how to get to the area of the software where he begins the course and barely explains the panes of the application. The instructor lacks structure in presentation of concepts and knowledge. He jumps from concept to concept with no warning or explanation. In that same vein, he also jumps around the screen without identifying where he is looking. It seemed that he was trying to fill a umber of videos quota rather than fill the videos with quality information. He is obviously far more familiar with the application he is teaching than I am, and therein lies part of the problem. He has apparently forgotten that he is trying to teach someone who may not be as familiar with the application.

Not really good in compare to youtube courses. He doesn’t explain about BP and his visual code system.
Dpuntod –
It was just sufficient. Low quality.
Kurt Melander –
Goes too fast to follow along, does not fully explain what he’s doing and why. monotone voice doesn’t help. SLOW DOWN.

Its could be a very great course for UE programmers, because it was made short, and to the point of concept. Although in content and project example we can borrow from others well polished courses so that more can learn using cooler examples. But overall its a very great crash course for making your brain get knowing about the UI functionalities in a very short time. Hope there are more courses you make in the future about this.. very niche and important!

Please continue the course!

The instructor sounded bored and uninterested the entire time. Many times he made novice mistakes and his flow for training wasn’t ironed out before starting. This video may be good for those who have never seen UE4 before but I still wont suggest it to anyone, this course needs polished.

Too shallow and focus too much on creating level blueprints for things that are not UI like picking up items. We need a class that goes in depth about UI only
