A wonderful course on the new features javascript offers. The way instructor teaches is very engaging as he shows everything with an example to make the concepts clear. Also he demystified some of the seemingly dreaded terms like temporal dead zones with ease!

Concise, well paced, and zero fluff. This course is perfect for the intermediate programmer who is coming back from a long break away from web development. Barger has created the perfect primer to get up to speed with writing declarative Javascript. The Functions, Objects and Arrays sections are filled to the brim with techniques that seasoned developers would use in production ready code. Great work. I’ll be referencing this material well into the future.

WARNING: if you are looking for hard to understand, difficult, and confusing explanations for some of the most important JavaScript concepts, look elsewhere. Reed is a master of his craft and a joy to code along with. I personally have been studying JavaScript for years but have NEVER found a more eloquent, succinct, and exemplary explanation of some of the finer points of JS that are easily overlooked. The course was a leisurely breeze at just 5 hours (most of the same type being 40+ hours or more), and while many instructors drone on for better part of an eternity dissecting formalities, Reed dispenses with the pleasantries and gets straight to the point. This course is a fantastic crash course for beginner and intermediate JS developers who are looking to step their game up, while maximizing their return on time invested. Very well done Reed, I look forward to purchasing many more courses from you in the future!

Wow, what a great instructor, he was able to clearly explain concepts and was able to easily code along beside him. Looking forward to going through some of his other courses.

This course is really good, especially if you come from basic JS course. I’ll call it Javascript Missing Links. Course focuses on javascript aspects that matter most from developer perspective. I really like real world examples that make aha moment finally I understand why we need this and why made it in this way. course will simplify each javascript aspects starting from scopes to promises with async await. Recommend!
