Great course to learn Python & Postgres! I like the way Jose teaches the basic concepts of python, he makes python with postgresql look easy. Having multiple big projects in the course allows us to apply all the concepts while learning the theoretical concepts. Also, the quiz exercises at the end of the course make it more interactive and thought provoking.

This is an amazing and in depth course for SQLite and PostgreSQL. My previous experience with SQL has been at a basic level, where you mostly just store and retrieve data from a database. It’s first after taking this course I really see the power and potential of really knowing and understanding how to properly use databases. Jose is doing an amazing job of trying to explain all this by building different projects. Some topics can be really advanced with a lot of different syntaxes, my suggestion is don’t try to rush through it, but rather press pause and take a look at this e book that’s supplied with courser or simply try to understand what Jose is saying by rewatching those parts. Really really good and in depth course. 5 stars.

Whiles every project always have room for improvement, I must say it is an excellent course as I comment below. FOUNDATION: adding a crash, but detailed Python beginners course is awesome. I find this introduction very key as the foundation to the main course. Just about anyone can jump in and learn; the beginner, the intermediate and advanced programmer. Everyone can jump in and enjoy his classes. COURSE PROGRESSION: The topics are interrelated, as one topic leads you seamlessly to the other, making the learning process both interesting and coherent. COURSE PRESENTATION: the slides and pattern of teaching makes it easy for a beginner to understands. This is made possible by your amazing use of image representation. THE VIDEO representations are great! By this, I mean the videos are short but detailed; that alone is magical, One video unfolding the other. EXERCISES: we learn by trying out various exercises. Every class has an accompanied exercise(s) which aids one in the learning experience by challenging you to work and master the art.

Jose is a natural teacher and this course is probably the best you will get anywhere. The entire Python and Postgress SQL were clearly and succinctly taught and extremely enjoyable. This has become the known hallmark of Jose if you have ever taken any of his other courses. This course is great and I highly recommend it to anyone serious about knowing Python and using the language for real world projects at a professional level. Thanks, Jose!

Want to learn Python? Want to understand how to build an application in Python and how to store your data in to a Relational Database? I can tell you after taking this course it will all make sense. I have some 30 year old programming experience and some SQL experience, but Jose attention detail is great. He breaks everything down and describes the entire process in detail. I have taken other courses. These are the best.

Jose is one of the best teachers on Udemy and the PostgreSQL course does not disappoint. I find his teaching style easy to follow and I love the depth in the content. I find myself truly understanding what I’m trying to code. If you’re wanting to learn PostgreSQL then this is the course for you.

If you are expecting the individual to already know python, starting off with very basics of printing is a waste of time. Instead, show good pythonic practices of using print statements or better show how to do proper logging.

Rodrigo Ibaceta –
Yes! I’m actually learning things I didn’t know I needed!

Great course, lots of examples that can be referred to for real world applications! The only negative in my opinion, is that the instructor speaks and types incredibly fast, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself playing the videos at x0.75.

Probably the best instructor I’ve ever learned from. Keeps out the extra fluff and provides examples for best practices and also shows what would break the code. Awesome.
