The course shows different aspects of how to script in service now development on practical examples (unfortunately at least for me they are a little bit too easy). I would say best for new user with some knowledge both in scripting and service now that want to combine both areas. The instructor is well prepared but the course itself is a little bit too slowly lectured. Many times the instructor shows different features of an API first in theory. In my opinion it’s not necessary as explaining by making example should be enough (some link to documentation should be enough if needed). This makes some of the videos a little bit overwhelming in case if you have some experience in coding. I used to run some stuff on 1.5 speed due to that. The application we can create is fine and I guess if that would be a centerpiece for the lectures (we built from start and theory and examples are build upon once the application progresses) I would be more interested in the course. Some aspects are also repeated from 101 course. Summarizing: Pros: good explanation for newbies in coding in Service Now, it’s easy to follow the instructor, good division of topics, section 10 summarizing all featurers is OK, nice tips given Cons: a little bit too much explanation for more experienced coders, practical examples from particular section are sometimes too easy All in all good course especially for beginners

So many queries coming up in between the course like the difference between scope and out of scope application. Its good but the content needs to more descriptive. The tutor’s tone is very good and understandable. Thanks a lot for making this tutorial.

It is a bit outdated (current version is Orlando) and some things have changed, but still being a good course for newcomers in ServiceNow.

I’m engoying it a lot. Congratulation, Mark Miller teacher.

Skimmed through this as was aiming to get enough knowledge to be able specify solutions. Script wise it delivered but focus is all about the snow api set and could do with something extra on integrating to legacy applications (eg using the mid server etc)

More Business rules practical examples would have been better

The course was good, but since the servicenow version is at least 2 years old. The course doesn’t give any information about what has changed since then, what is not relevant now.

Yess! Thank you so much. I am a trained full stack web developer who recently just landed a ServiceNow role. This tutorial helped me understand the Glide API’s and how to write queries in ServiceNow. Compared to the ServiceNow (free) documentation, this course was very easy to understand (even at x2 speed) and I recommend it to any sys admin or developer starting out in the platform.
