The instructor is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the material that he is teaching. The delivery is very clear and engaging. My attention remains focused on each topic and lecture. The course lectures are very well structured organized with a progressive flow. I have learned a variety of skills from taking this course and recommend this course for anyone who would like to become a web developer.

not semantic mark up at all poor quality teaching too! lots of ahh’s’ and erm’s.

Repetitive but sound grounding in coding. Excellent course

I’m going to have to give this course 2 stars because it is titled Complete Web Developer Course when it should be called Complete Web Design Course. I purchased this course thinking it would be the only course I need. I was very wrong. The only thing he covers in this course is front end web design. He doesn’t go into Javascript, PHP, jQuery or any of the other general programming languages that a Complete Web Developer should/will need to know. However with that said, this course is not useless. If you want to do web design and need inspiration or want to know how to make a more advanced UX, this course is great. I purchased this course thinking that by the time I finish I will be able to make any website I want. This was not true. I was baited into buying this, and by the time I realized this course was nothing but a UX tutorial, my money back guarantee had expired. So, just remember the title is misleading. If you want to become a web developer, this course is not for you.

At times, I wish there was a little more explanation as to the why behind certain coding choices. Like, why adjust padding instead of margin? Or why go with div id’s instead of classes, or div id’s AND classes? Or what does hr:before mean? I think I understand why and eventually figure it out, but I think it might be interesting to include the why behind certain topics and choices.

Overall the course was good for practicing building websites using html and css. The practice pages done in this tutorial looked very nice and smooth. If you already have some knowledge of the material but not much experience building good looking websites, then this is for you. However, I must say that this tutorial is definitely not very informative and doesn’t do a lot to teach the fundamentals of web design to a beginner.

It was a type along course, so there was not hardly any explanation in detail of what the code meant. And I would have liked to had more projects that were not code along and would be more challenging that the instructor(s) and/or students would help in finishing the projects that were not code along. And there might have been some quizzes also. But if you are looking for a great code along course, this is a great one!

This is a very great start to the course. I’m very happy with the rate of information and the simple way concepts are explained. Looking forward to continuing the course.
