So you’ve learnt some programming, but are struggling to get an interview, let alone a job.
Or you are stuck in a low paying programming job, and want to move up to a better, more senior position.
Maybe you have never programmed before, and are looking for a way to get into programming for the first time.
But, just how do you get employers to notice you? How do you make your resume stand out of the crowd of programmers looking for work?
By learning to create cross platform applications targeting both iOS and Android from the one codebase, using Xamarin.
What is Xamarin?
Xamarin is a Microsoft owned company, that allows developers, using a C#–shared codebase, to write native Android, iOS (and even Windows and MacOS) apps with native user interfaces and share code.
This means you can create an application once, and deploy it to both Android and iOS, both which run natively on the platform. One codebase, two platforms.
Learning to create apps with Xamarin makes you more valuable to your employer or clients as a result.
What does Xamarin mean to you?
You can create native Android and iOS apps that share up to 100% code! No more writing separate versions of apps for both platforms.

Hugo Sieiro –
It’s not just a bunch of tutorials on how to develop certain Apps, but an actual lesson from the bottom up on C# programming, explaining why and how things work.
Brad Mehlenbacher –
The content gets pretty confusing about a quarter of the way and there are no tests or anything to test whether or not your knowledge is being retained. If there were assignments or tests more often (I think there has been one very simple quiz so far) I would probably give it 5 stars.

I’m happy this course starts right at the beginning, other courses are all over the place

Absolutely super. Until this course iOs dev, especially, was a big elephant for me. This tutor made things easy. Especially deploying to app store was great.

Basic knowledge of c# is absolutely a must for this course. Pacing is a bit all over the place, but nonetheless a very good introductory course touching many subjects of xamarin development.

El contenido est bastante bien, sin embargo no es un curso para personas que hablamos espa ol, los subtitulos son bastantes malos y no ayudan a la comprensi n del curso en su totalidad, la verdad es que esperaba un poco m s en ese aspecto, es lamentable.

Good overview of a lot of different areas like C# and configuring DevStudio to connect to a Mac. There is a lot of material here.

So far this course is amazing. I have reviewed several different video courses and books and not one of them explains things as well as Eduardo including even little things like where to find the xaml render button in order to get a quick preview of your app in Android or iOS or where to find your hidden C# files or why/when to use x:Name. He makes it so simple.
