I really enjoyed this course, it was very thorough and informative. The instructor has a style that is very friendly and easy to understand. The only recommendation I would give is that a lot of the course is done in the Chrome console, this is a bit unfortunate because it doesn’t leave the student very much to refer back to. However, later in the course the instructor introduced atom.io and teaches you how to use a console in that program. After that it was easy to create a js file that I could refer back to. I don’t ding the course rating because if you really wanted to you could also create a js file and then separately enter the commands in the console but it would have been nice to have the atom.io option earlier in the course. In any case, the information is fantastic and the instructor does an excellent job communicating it. I recommend this course.

I enjoyed the live examples. It really helped build on my knowledge on the simplied overview from a top down perspective of an object. It added more good info that I was not even aware of. I wish this course would be mandatory for school and bootcamps. It would make coding easier because a person would be able to quicky spot the structure of different objects and classes to break down protypes and constructors a lot faster. This would free their time to start working on other things like backend servers, other libraries, frameworks, refactoring, algorithms, side projects, etc. Criticism for future addtions: I wish the course would expand deeper into types of algorithms to improve overall code structure with refactoring code, connecting forms, blogs, etc., to backend from the front end, using node as a local server to stop the tedious time wasting(save, alt tab, refresh), using math.random() with properties(variables) and arrays to connect that to event propagation, buttons, loops, & jquery libraries. Ok I put too much thought into the suggestions, but yeah This course totally rocks!!!

I believe this course delivered what I was after. I was looking to shore up my limited understanding of objects. I have taken other Udemy courses that went a little deeper into topics than this course does. I feel as if those courses gave me a higher degree of confidence upon completion. However, I bought this course on sale and feel that the content was worth the sale price.

Even being only a few lectures into this course and I already know what objects are,how OOP relates to JavaScript and how object and classes are related. If I knew this information before my last interview I would have probably gotten the job.

Goes much too fast. Console window is too small and you can’t follow the code. No solutions to exercises that I could find.

The explaining abilities of the teacher are awesome

Very very few practical exercices. I would suggest more practice.

Great short course. I will be taking it again until I fully understand objects.
