Content of the course seems pretty good. I am on video 23 right now so haven’t even gotten to some of the really good stuff. The problem with the class so far are 2 fold. 1. The instructor moves around constantly and is really hard to follow. I am constantly pausing the video and rewinding because he just finished typing something and suddenly jumped to the the UI screen or changed which script he is working on or on the UI screens, he just entered a property or added something and moved away from the area so it is no longer visible. In the early sessions, there are no resources available that I have found so it the only way to get the code is to type it in (which is not a bad thing usually) but frustrating when he is constantly jumping around. 2. While a lot of what he is presenting is cool, he seems to get lost in an attempt to do something cool and starts to lose what he was trying to teach. While it is nice to have something that looks interesting rather than something that is more basic, he needs to better explain what he is doing if he is going to make those leaps… for example his explanation on what normalized does simply was not enough and I am not sure at this point in the class it was even required. Also, the sound is soft so I have to crank the sound way up to hear it.
